#1- I HATE buying HPT and I see those little stick looking thingies (sorry for lack of better terms) you gals have got on here. Are they cheaper than like ept and whatnot? If so, where do I get them?

#2- My OB recommended a year to wait to have another baby. I think the reason for that is to let my body rest. Well, I don't want to wait a year, I am thinking more like 3-6 cycles. WDYT?

#3 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I am sorry I dont know where they get those but I see they refer to them as internet cheapies, so I assume they are cheaper.

My dr. told me to wait until we got results back from my blood tests, basically just a couple months. I have found that a lot of dr.'s want us to wait a year because of the emotional healing. Dh and I have problems conceiving so we started "not preventing" after 2 cycles. I can say that it ha been 9 months since I lost my little girl and I am glad that it hasn't happened just yet because I needed this time to heal emotionally. Now I am very ready to get that bfp!

Thanks for your response. I was talking with DH about not preventing and if/when we got preggo then it would be a blessing. I don't want to "try" yet, but if it happens, it happens, if not, then we aren't meant to have another one yet, KWIM? I am going to wait for about 3 cycles and then start being careless. If we don't get preggo before July then I will start the TTC ritual lol.

I have a little girl that I had no problems with the pregnancy. Her 2nd bday is in July and I don't want them more than 3.5 yrs apart.

Early-pregnancy-tests.com has really cheap pregnancy tests on there. I'd order them, but I have no waiting strength and would probably use them all in a 2 day span!

I agree with waiting until you're ready. Your doctor can only suggest what he/she knows is best (I assume). Whenever YOU are ready, is when you're ready.

I wish you and your husband the best, and hope you make Dominic a big brother real soon!!!

and to you!!!

You can get them from online. thats what i did..lol..

I suffered 2 Stillbirths and it wasnt the easy. it happened right after each other. I would say form my experience, To wait till you feel that your healed inside and out. sometimes i wish that i had miscarriages then Stillbirths. I think it would be easier. But im pregnant again, and i wasnt really trying to become pregnant. But it took us 6 months + to conceive this baby. So take your time, Get out there and have some adult time, to ease the pain.

Im sorry to hear about your loss.

Omg, I couldn't imagine having 2 stillbirths in a row. I am so sorry about that. Did they figure out a reason?

Thanks for the advice gals.

I got mine on ebay. They were $10.99 for 25!!!! It helps with the POAS addiction for sure

I personally wouldn't be able to wait a year. Maybe you can ask your doctor if there is any medical reason why you have to wait that long? If they can't give you a good reason why... I personally would be TTCing right away. But that's just me
