Hi Girls,

I normally post on the Grieving board, but I am moving over here to introduce myself. My name is Carolyn and I am 31 years old, DH is 38. We suffered our first m/c with our first pregnancy 4 weeks ago today (though we knew it was coming for a few weeks prior). I was 9 weeks, 3 days along when I m/c. I got my first period post-m/c today (and am actually excited to see it - means I am "working" correctly). It was a horrible experience as well all sadly know, and I am glad it is over and done with. Physically, I am fine. Emotionally, more good days than bad ones. I feel I will never fully get over it, but I know that time will heal the wound. For now, I am excited (and very nervous) to just start over and try again.

My doctor said to wait 2 cycles before TTC, but she also said that that is really for dating purposes and if I wanted to TTC this month, it would not be a big deal. So, we are going to try now!

Anyway, it is only day one so I have a long way to go but I wanted to say hello and introduce myself!

Hi Carolyn! I know we already know each other from the PL board, but just wanted to say hi and to this board. This is a great group of women here and I think you will fit in really well! (And...I am super jealous that AF arrived for you. I am still sitting here waiting... )

I am sorry you lost your little one. I am glad you found your way over here though. Welcome! I know what you mean about that first AF. I just couldn't wait for mine to come either and was so relieved when she arrived (I think that is the only time I've been relieved for her arrival). I look forward to getting to know you better.

Aw, shucks. Thanks everyone!

I feel welcome already!

We are officially TTC (well, this month - you know what I mean) so I've given myself a new ticker siggy and I'm anxious for the fertile days to arrive.

Hopefully, my nerves will not get the best of me!
