we got to see one good gestational sac and one collapsed one (that one didn't make it). They said the good one has a normal looking and normal size yolk sac, but no heartbeat yet. So I'm freaking out a little that there's not a heartbeat yet and we already lost one embie. The dr said it was normal at this point to be within plus or minus 1 week. Now to see what the RE says . . .

They also said it's too soon to see if that one good one has split into two identical twins so we just have to wait some more! UGH! Why can't this process just be easy?

So here's my baby so far: the yolk sac is on the left side, as if it were 9:00.

Anne,

I am soo sorry the second one didn't take

I am sending you every ounce of sticky dust I can find for this bean to grow...grow...grow.

I am sure at the next apt you will have a nice strong HB. It still is pretty early for a HB but I am sure you know that. I have a really really good feeling about this pregnancy for you And that picture melts my heart! What a beautiful pic!

Thanks ladies! My RE wants another u/s done on Friday 1/4, he says we should hear the heartbeat then. I am so scared! I know it's still early, and some ladies couldn't hear it until 8 or 9 weeks.
After having 2 unusual (and unexplained) ectopics, I just want a "normal" pg, KWIM?

Well I obviously haven't been checking in here enough because i didn't even you were pg! So first of - Congrats! I am happy to hear that. I am sorry that you lost one but the other looks great. I wouldn't worry too much about the heartbeat, sometimes they can't see if for a while. I really, really hope you can see it on the 4th to ease your mind. Good luck! I will check in on the 4th to see how it went. Your little bean is in my prayers.
