Saw this and thought we should all know so we can say a little prayer for her and her baby!
Greenchild

******UPDATE

HOG again.

Anne is up and moving around this morning.
I had to leave to sign in to work this morning and called at 8:00 to check on her.
The OB brought in the ultrasound pictures from Monday night. Needless to say, Anne was crushed when she saw the picutres and I dashed back to the hospital.

I left a few minutes ago to check in on work and give a quick update since there's a small break in the action.

Her hemoglobin level from last night went up to 8.4. I don't know what the scale means really, but the doctor said at 8.0 and below is when they start transfusions.

It didn't go up a whole lot and since neither of us are doctors, we don't know what to make of it really, but we're hoping that the non-expected raise in hemoglobin has more to do little girl/guy in utero glomping on and starting to grow like crazy instead of a signal of more internal bleeding.

Also on the upside, Anne has not had any noteworthy vaginal bleeding, just a couple of minute brown spots (or whatever the vernacular is), nothing bright red, thankfully.

The catheter is out, now we just need to wait and see if she can pee without extreme agony like yesterday after the catheter was removed the first time.

With a little luck and a lot of pluck, Anne will be home this afternoon.

I've run out of printer paper, but she's read most of this thread and sends all sorts of thank yous, hugs, and love back at y'all.

Back to the hospital for now.

OMG I just want the throw something...life is so unfair. I was so hoping this pregnancy would be uneventful for her. I just want to cry. This bean will be getting every ounce of prayers I can find.

I hope she heals quick and the baby grows and grows.

Thank you so much Judy for letting us know. I had to read the post a few times because I just couldn't believe it. How devistating. I really hope that the second baby can be carried to term and that Anne can make a quick recovery.
