Hi! My name is Amy! I'm not new to JM, but I'm new to this board. I'm not sure if it is exactly where I belong, though. After two recent miscarriages, my BF and I aren't exactly TTC again yet (the doctor told us to wait at least 3 months), but we aren't doing anything at all to prevent another pregnancy (and may be doing just a little to encourage it). I know that TTC before we are married (or even engaged) isn't the best scenario, but after planning for and working things out and getting excited for a baby twice in the past 3 months, we have both decided that this is the right choice for us. I have been having this strange feeling that God has been telling me he wants me to have a baby, but that I have to decide that it's what I want.

Hello and Welcome, Amy! I'm so sorry to hear of your two recent losses!!!!
I'm currently not trying right now either, but this board is absolutely amazing and is full of support and love!!! If the doctor says to wait 3 months, maybe you should? That way the lining in your uterus can build up and be able to keep your lil miracle nice and snug for 9 months.
As for not being engaged or married -- I wasn't even in a serious relationship with my now HUSBAND when I got pregnant and had a miscarriage in June. We only started being serious at the end of June, engaged in September, married in November. If you love eachother and are willing and able to care for a baby 100%, then that's ALL that matters!!!!
Good luck to you and your BF when you begin trying!!!

Welcome Amy! I was in your first DDC, once again let me say I'm sorry for you losses. My Dr. told me to wait until I had two AFs to start TTC again. As much as I don't want to wait, I'm gonna try. If I were you I might consider at least waiting one cycle, but I've heard many stories on here of people you got pregnant again before their first AF after m/c and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I guess you just never know. Either way you are in the right place so stick around!

Hi Amy! I also remember you from the June DDC. I am so sorry for your recent losses and just wanted to welcome you here! This is a great group of women!
I, too, joined here before I was actually TTC (I just now finished my first AF after my D&C so this is my 1st cycle trying), soooo... Welcome!!

Hello and welcome!
I think you should do what you feel is best. My doctor did not tell me to wait.. and we haven't been. We started DTD 2 weeks after my D&C. I still haven't had a cycle, but am thinking she will be coming any time.
I wish you the best and am glad you are here.

Hey Amy I was also in the June DDC, and I think we were even due on the same day... I had no idea you had even gotten pg again so quickley after! I feel so out of the loop. I'm so sorry hun. I cannot imagine having 2 losses in such a short time. My heart goes out to you. I have found this place to be of such comfort... it really is hard for others to relate if they haven't gone through such a tradgedy themselves. We all love you here!!! WELCOME!!
