I'm not sure if I ever posted an introduction, I've just been a sort of lurker. Anyways. My name is Barb (24) . I've had 2 miscarriages in the past 6 months and I think this was another one. Ugh.

I tested on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and they were ALL positive. They progressively were darker as well. Well yesterday morning took a test, negative. Last night, negative. And this morning negative AGAIN. Now I'm starting with bleeding today. I got called into work today so I didn't get to go get the blood test, but my OB is back in the office after a vacation on Monday. So I'm going to talk to him then, but does this sound like another miscarriage?? I can't see how it'd be positive, but a positive before is a positive right? I'm just SO tired of this. I get the BFP and I'm not even excited about it, it's just awful.

After the last miscarriage, he did do some blood work and an HSG test and everything has come back pretty normal. So could there be something else?

and

I am sorry for your losses.

I think I am going through the same thing right now so I really don't have any advice. I see my doc at the start of my next cycle.

For me the cycle before last I got clear +'s for three days. I went in for a blood test and my HCG was between 5-10. Two days later it had gone to less than 5.

Last month I had a very faint + one day and then it was gone. I didn't bother with bloodwork.

Both months I FELT PG

They do check my progesterone each cycle so I am pretty sure that isn't it. I am at a loss too... but just wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

I hope you get some answers soon.

Hello and Welcome, Barb. I'm so very sorry to hear of your losses!!!

You have obviously had a period following your most recent m/c, correct? If not, then it could be that your hCG levels haven't dropped below 5 and that's why you got 3 positive results when you tested. If you DID have AF since your last m/c, then I assume you're having another one. I'm so so so sorry to be typing this to you right now!!! I wish I didn't!

If the doctor gave you a HSG test, and it came back normal, maybe he can give you some advice, or help TTC.

I hope this helps.

to you!!!

It is a sad welcome here, but you are in the right place. I am so sorry for your losses and possible current loss. I know you said you had some tests done, but I would make sure they check your progesterone (it is cause for early mc's). I would also get tested for blood clotting disorders. I had 2 mc's, a blighted ovum, and stillbirth before they checked me and I found out that I have 2 different blood clotting disorders. I was told that after 3 mc's they will run as many tests as needed. Some of the blood tests are for Mthfr, Antiphospholipid syndrome, and lupus anticoagulant. I think there are more that are run in the panel of testing, but I highly recommend those tests as well as progesterone. Another way to find out is to start charting and see how long your LP is. If it is too short, then they give progesterone or vitamin b6 to help lengthen it, sometimes they even use clomid.

Again I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope that you get some answers soon.

Hi Barb. I am sorry that you seem to be having re-occuring losses. I hope that you can meet with the doctor and that next time you get your BFP that they can help with keeping the babies safe and sound and growing in your tummy. I would also be so very frustrated going through all those ups and downs. I am glad you decided to introduce yourself. Welcome to TTCAL.

Hi Barb and Welcome! Sorry you have to be here, but this is a great group of supportive women. It sounds like everyone else has given you some really good advice, so I don't really have anything to add, but I just wanted to say *hi*! I look forward to getting to know you!

Hello and welcome, though I'm sorry to be having to welcome you! I don't know much about the technical stuff, I just wanted to offer some {{{HUGS}}} and to say that hopefully you get a sticky bean soon!

Thanks for the welcome ladies. I'm sorry to hear that others are going through the same thing! Well today I can definitely tell it's another miscarriage, you just begin to know the difference between your period and a miscarriage. Gosh, no one should be able to tell the difference! It's just not fair. I know he did a whole bunch of blood tests and said they all came back normal. I had a copy of it but I can't seem to fin it right now. I'm not sure if there is stuff he didn't test for or what. Oh and I did have a normal period in between this last miscarriage. So I guess know it's in the doctor's hands on Monday.
