I have lost count as to what cd I am now. Something like cd 45. Thats over 6wks. I wonder if it had something to do with my D&C being incomplete, and passing the remaining clots over the next week. I called my OB but she is out of the office until Jan 14th. The nurse said I could get my hcg drawn to make sure I am at 0. I didn't bother wasting the copay. I get crampy, I get a headache, I get grumpy, I enjoy my chocolate truffles more than usual. I could have sworn I had ewcm yesterday. I stopped my OPK's some time ago, because it was positive. Sssoooooooo frustrated, I went out an bought a new king size mattress set. There, that will show her!

It's *normal* for it to take this long for AF to show. If anything is ever really normal after a loss <sigh>

I bet buying the matress will do the trick though Congrats on the purchase!

Totally sucks that AF hasn't showed yet!!!! Maybe get a pregnancy test, and see if it's positive or not, that way you have an idea about your levels and if they've dropped or not. I know most tests start to register hCG around 25, so you might be able to get a quick answer that way.

Oh Steph, I was so hoping she was on her way to your house when she left mine. I am sorry you are still waiting, but I think you may be right. If you had an incomplete D&C and you still had some retained tissue for a week or so, your levels probably didn't go down completely until after that.

On another thought, if you had a + OPK, have you done a HPT?? Maybe that's why AF hasn't shown...just a thought!

Steph, I am so sorry! I know what you are feeling! I am CD38 right now and going crazy with no AF in sight! I am like you- was certain I was going to see AF any minute b/c I was feeling crampy, moody, gripey, hungry.. but then it eased up. I haven't had a positive pregnancy test in over 3 weeks, so I know my levels have to be down to where they should be. Now I'm wondering if maybe I was ovulating when I thought AF was coming? I don't know! I'm trying to make sense of it all. I'm calling my doctor on wEdnesday if I haven't seen her face- I will be 6 weeks after D&C at that point. I am so ready to get on the TTC train. WE haven't been abstaining, but I really don't think I am pregnant yet. Just so frustrating!! I hope it happens soon for both of us!!!

Hi guys, just an update. Still no AF. I thought that I was going to start yesterday.... I was crampy, chocolate tasted oh so good, I was grumpy, headaches this past week. Still, nothing. I am 7 wks post d&c. I had my last BFP on CD8. I didn't test again until CD22 which was BFN. I retested on CD28, and CD42 just in case. All negative. Soooooooooo frustrating. If I don't start by the 14th which is monday( and 8wks post d&c), I am going to see my OB. I might see her anyway. I am wandering if I have hashimoto's disease, and I want her to test for thyroid antibodies.

I'm glad to see that you're testing negative with the HPT, that's a really good sign! I hope AF shows for you really soon!!!! I agree in going to see your doctor. I hope AF doesn't decide to take her sweet time to arrive for you!!!!
