I was MIA for almost a week, and SO much has happened in that week!!!
We spent New Years at Dwayne's relatives home and it was wonderful!!! Markus was with us, along with Dwayne's step-sister, his mom and Peter. Whom might I add, is doing great and they've decided NOT to get surgery performed to remove the mass. They've just decided to get CT Scans every few months to see if it's growing.
We almost got caught having sex by Dwayne's mother the other night as well, it was scary as heck and I was shaking after! He just laughed at me! I didn't appreciate that too much!! I also ovulated during New Years and since we had sex, there's a possibility that we caught the eggie, but I'm taking my BCP daily and around the same time so I doubt it!!
My sister was dumped by her fiance on New Year's Eve!!! He did it at the grocery store and told her she's nothing but a headache. Also said "good luck finding someone else to put up with your b.s." I feel bad for her, but, she's talking about getting back with him, so, I'm finished with that whole situation!
The basement is still slowly coming together, we're managing right now the way it is, and being in the basement will definitely be a luxury!!!!
That's it for my update! Thanks for reading!!!

Sounds like you had quite the week!
I hate to say it though, if you're taking bcp, you probably didn't actually ovulate. Birth control pills work in 3 ways 1) thickening the mucus lining of the cervix to make it harder for sperm to get through, 2) thinning out the lining of the uterus so that IF there's an embryo it won't be able to implant as well, and 3) inhibiting ovulation.
BUT, it's been known to not always work. SO, I'll wish you lots of baby dust!!

Are you serious???? I didn't know that!!!!! I was taking the pill back in May and got pregnant, but I think it's because I missed a few pills. I'm going to have to look up on all of that!!!
Ok so, I just did a Google search of the BCP I take -- Alesse. And well, I've decided to STOP TAKING IT!!!! The side effects are absolutely horrifying!!!!! I'm going to switch the kind of pill I take!

Hey there.. just something to add about BCP... side affects for ANY bCP are gonna be bad... there might be some doses that arent as strong that might have fewer side affects but hey are all gonna have risks... Its one of those things.. they have to put it on the label because its MIGHT it a lot of chances, happen... but if youve been on BCP for a long time already, you already know how your body handles it, and it should be just fine...
My thing with BCP was i never wanted to get one that prevented a fertilized egg from implanting.. i always took the ones that would thicken, and prevent ovulation... I always asked my Dr. about the pill before i used it.
But like brittanie said, its been known not to work.. usually if a couple days of pills were missed.. but sometimes not even then...
OKay.. Good luck finding the perfect BCP for you!!

Thanks for the info Em!!! Really appreciate it!!! Thanks Melanie!! You made me blush!
I talked it over with Dwayne, and he said there's no point in me switching BCP since I have like a 5-6 month supply already purchased. It would be a waste of money if I stopped taking them.
I'm not sure what kind of side effects I actually get while taking the pill, I think I'm Oing and my CM doesn't seem to change, has been the same for months.
I guess we'll have to wait and see if AF shows up as scheduled next week!!!

As for my sister -- she's getting back with him, her and I have been argueing back and forth pretty much all day. I'm not impressed, told her he treats her like dog crap on his shoe and she takes it, definitely NOT the same person I thought he was. Oh well!! Not my relationship!!!
Me and Dwayne DTD again last night, so, if the egg was in the right spot, it could have definitely caught the spermie!!! Gonna have to wait and see...but I'm putting myself in the 2WW!!!!
Bobbie -- can't waitttttt to do your inverts!!!!
