Well, all was going well. 12/27 bloodwork was at 45. 1/2 bloodwork more than doubled and went to 516 but I just got my 1/4 bloodwork results in and they are only at 934. I had the blood drawn at the same time each day (I may have been 30 mins earlier on 1/4 but not much). Anyway, they should be at 1032... guess I'll go back in on Monday for more testing.

On the bright side I still feel very pregnant. More symptoms with this pregnancy than with any others. I can't have sweets or they make me sick. BBS sore off and on and today my nips are hurting too. I am having very vivid dreams too. Anyway, I am trying not to worry too much but I just wish those numbers doubled. My first appt is next Thursday...

I think those numbers are ok. Betas are to double every 48-72 hours, so you're right on schedule.

Thanks ladies. I am trying not to worry. I just want to hear a heartbeat and then I'll rent a doppler so I won't be so anxious.

Lori, how is Cameron doing?

Your levels are still in the normal range! And THIS website says "In general, the HCG level will double every two to three days in early pregnancy. Approximately 85 percent of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours." Here's hoping you'll get to here that little heart beating soon!

Thanks for the link. I had heard it it was every 2-3 days but just am nervous because the nurse was talking about every 48hours blah blah blah. I really am trying to think positive and I do "feel" that everything is okay. I keep tellling myself, "what you fear the most will meet you halfway" so I am trying not to be too obsessive over the numbers but I can't help but have a little nervousness until I am holding my little one, KWIM? Thanks for the kind words everone

I wouldn't worry Danica. Your levels almost doubled the 3rd time, just being off by 100 doesn't mean much. Your levels are RISING and that's what counts!

I'm sure your lil bean is doing great and is developing right on schedule! Good luck at your appointment on Thursday, and I hope you get great results after Monday's blood draw!!!

Hey Danica!!!
I am sure it will all be alright. Last time I was PG my doctor told me once you get to a certain level they don't necessarily have to double. I am sure all is well with your bean!!! I will keep you in my T&P

Danica, I know how easy it is to start to worry, but please don't. Those levels sound good, almost exactly where they should be. Maybe if you had gone an hour later, then it would have doubled and you probably wouldn't be thinking twice about it then. Just another way to look at it. Anyhow, I will be thinking of you, and please keep us updated.

I think those numbers sound FINE.

I would try not to worry. This bean is gonna be just perfectly healthy

Let us know how tomorrow goes! I will be thinking about you.

P.S. You might want to check out ebay for a doppler. Last time I looks there were some pretty good deals.

Thanks ladies. I am sort of more at ease with the numbers. I'll still go in tomorrow and get my blood drawn but won't have the results till Tuesday. I debated the whole bloodwork thing but honestly I chose to do the bloodwork because if things are going south I want to know right away, not 2 or 3 weeks later... KWIM?

Thanks Bobbie for the tip. I didn't even think of buying one on ebay. I was just going to rent one. I'll look into that too.
