Hey all, I keep thinking that my thyroid is low. I gained weight quickly this year (about 15#) increased dry skin, seems like my hair on my temples is thinning, low body temperature (normal is 96.8), fatigue, constipation. My thyroid levels are always ok, but with hashimoto's, it is an autoimmune disease that attacks your thryoid and your levels can stay normal for a while. The weird thing is that I was worked up the a possible autoimmune disease last may because I developed scleritis. They were thinking RA (rheumatoid arthritis), but all was negative. The other weird thing is that right around the time I lost my baby, I developed the worst case of dry skin on my stomach. Dry flakes were peeling off my belly no matter what cream I used. I know that untreated thyroid issues can lead to miscarriage. Sooo.. any one else out there have any experience with this?

Steph, I don't know too much about it, but I know there is a Thyroid disorders board here on JM. They will probably be able to give you some really good info over there. KUP
