Hey guys

We are finally back home after an exhausting yet great 3 week vacation. It feels good to be home but I do miss my family. My sister who was due January 28th was diagnosed Thursday with preeclampsia and admitted to the hospital Sat. After 2 24-hour urine tests and BP monitoring they decided to induce her this morning. She was given cytotec last nite and they started pitocin this morning.

So please keep her in your T & P. This is her first baby and she is quite nervous. My mom is with her and her fiance' but I feel so helpless and far away so I thought I could share this with you gals.

Thanks and Happy New Year

Heather

****My sister had her little baby girl this morning around 1 am. Evelyn Belle--"Evie" was 5lbs 13 oz and 18 inches long. My mama says she is so tiny and beautiful with lots of hair the color of my sister's (it's auburn). They are both doing extremely well. I can't wait to see pictures, I'll post some when I get them. I'm bummed cause we just left NC on Sat so I just missed her. Thanks for all the T & Ps!!!

Thanks

I don't know much about pre-eclampsia so I'm a little worried. The drs did tell her that Evie ( the baby) will be fine and that she is fully developed and only putting on fat the last few weeks.
