Clara Rose arrived at 7:56 pm, weighing 5lbs3.5oz and Mariah Ann arrived at 8:22pm weighing 5lbs2oz. Mother and babies are doing well, although Clara has some issues with her intestines that will require surgery in the next couple of months, so we're praying for her.

I don't have any pictures yet...and I got that info from the away message on their daddy's instant messenger, so I have no more details.


I'm so excited for her! I'm pretty sure she was able to deliver them vaginally, and she was at 37 weeks, so they might not need a NICU stay! I'll let you know when I know more.

So I called Shauna to get real information. Mariah is at home and is a sweetheart. Clara underwent a temporary surgery on Sunday because they can't do the real surgery until she's 6 months old, so what they did just made it so she can make it until then. She's in the NICU right now, she's still being fed on a tube, but on Thursday she should be able to nurse and she'll hopefully be home in a week!
