I took the first ovulation test yesterday. The line was pretty much non-existent.

Today, it was almost as bright as the test line.

What the heck? That means it's almost bright enough to indicate I'm ovulating, right?

So I have a few questions, since this is my first time:

1. How can I ovulate without having AF in over a year?
2. Why was yesterday's line almost non-existence, but today's almost as bright?
3. Is it pointless to use this test since I haven't had consistent AF?
4. Is it possible for a line to show up on this test, but be pregnant?

Sorry to bombard everyone with questions.

Im not gonna be much help at all!

1. How can I ovulate without having AF in over a year? Dont know! have you recently come off BC? or is your body just not "doing" the AF thing?

2. Why was yesterday's line almost non-existence, but today's almost as bright? i know people have gotten multiple "almost" as bright, or even darker lines in one month... im not sure how great it is to take OPKs at random times... Since it wasnt a positive test, i guess you can take it tomorrow and see what happens..

3. Is it pointless to use this test since I haven't had consistent AF? since you havent had an AF in over a year! If youre just coming off BC.. then yes! take them.. but if its some other reason.. then i dont know how much help they would be...

4. Is it possible for a line to show up on this test, but be pregnant? i think it is... but i would think that its best not to use it as an indication of that...

this is all IMO!!! i dont really KNOW any of that...

Good luck though!!!
