ive been taking $ store tests

If i end up late for my period ill go buy a more expensive sort of test..

i am 10 DPO today and the dollar tree test was negative.....

but arent they supposed to be used on or after the missed period?? so they arent that sensitive are they...??

so ill test again friday on 12 dpo with another $tree test.. and if its still negative, just hope that AF doesnt show....

but i still dont feel pregnant, and i still feel like i am gonna get my period when the time comes around.. But im still really hoping it doesnt... i HATE this last week of waiting!!!

Ive not had good luck with $ store tests. Even when pg, the line has been very light.

I took the $ Tree test every day last month until AF showed up! I just figured they were only one dollar! I don't know how well they work, but I heard they are supposed to be pretty good at detecting early pregnancy?! Once I was actually late, I was going to use a more expensive test!! Then she showed.......

I just finished AF, so I will be going to the $ store to get some more!!!

I used the dollar store tests at 12 DPO and it was kinda faint. I put my pics in the pic subforum up there. It got a little darker every day. I don't know about any earlier because I've never tried it, but it worked at 12 DPO for me. And, for the record, I had NO pregnancy symptoms and was absolutely convinced I was NOT pregnant! Here's hoping!!!

I've used them and have had pretty good luck with them (in that I haven't gotten too many evaps and all that). I like that they are so cheap!

It says right on the box that it'll give you a bfp if your level is 25, so I think it's just as good as the more expensive brands. $tree tests gave me my bfp last time. They're only a buck, so test away! I so hope this is your month Em!

I got a bfp on the $ store one at 7/8 dpo. The frer was darker than the $ ones the very next day though. So I think that frer is just a little more sensitive, but the $ store seemed to work really well for me. Of course it all depends on implantation. I hope you get your bfp in a couple days!! Save your money though and just use the $ ones until you see a second line and then use your digital!

I got a BFP with the Early Response ones at 11 DPO last time, and have heard in other TTC circles that girls have gotten BFPs with less than 25 HcG. One girl was only at around 12 when she got a BFP with Early Response!

I have heard good things about the $ Store ones as well, and for a buck, who cares!

Wow Rhonda! at 7/8 days! thats awesome...but depressing...im 10 DPO and got a BFN... Maybe the baby is implanting today..im kinda feeling like i might start my period.. you know that feeling... but it might also just be my period getting ready for this weekend... JEEESH i wish i was already 14 DPO!!! i hate waiting!

yeah i LOVE dollar tree tests!! I used them in my last two pregnancies and got blaring BFP's each time!!!!!

The only time I've ever used $ store tests, they were negative and my period started the next day!

Sure sounds like they work!!!!! They start detecting pregnancy when your levels are at 25! Which is basically the same as some of the more expensive tests!

My bff swears by the $tree tests- she got a bfp at 4!!! dpo (which i've never heard of but she swears she knows when she o's because she feels it...and she WAS pg, so who knows). I haven't used them much, but i'm thinking of getting myself a good supply since i must test even tho i don't think it happened this month.

btw- Em when is your daughters bday? I just noticed her age and it looks like she is close to my Wyatt's age-his bday is 3-23-06.

I've only gotten bfn's on dollar store tests. Of course, only ONCE was I actually pregnant, and the DR didn't even get a bfp at first.

Me too girlie!!! When I actually find the courage to join the Sept DDC - we could be in there together along with the other TTCAL graduates! How fun!!
