Just curious.... so a quick poll!
How long did you wait to TTC post-m/c? And how far along were you pre m/c?
I'll start...
I m/c at 9 weeks, 3 days.
I waited one cycle to TTC.

My first two losses we waited the recommended 3 months. The last two losses we started trying right away! Good luck!

Had a d&C for missed miscarriage at 11 weeks 2 days.
Started trying right away- doctor did not tell us to wait, but I don't think I ovulated before AF.

We lost Cora at 38w1d. Doctor said that I HAD to wait 3 months. We waited 4, and got pregnant at 5.

I miscarried at 5 weeks 1 day, was not told to wait.....but we are anyway!

I was told to wait 2 cycles and that is the plan, but AF doesn't wanna show her face (frickin' day after day of spotting though)

I m/c at 14 weeks... in March. I was told to wait one cycle, but we started right away. With the second it was a chemical PG... so I didn't wait then either. I have bad luck

On 1/31 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. I know I don't belong to this board, but I did have a miscarriage in November '06 at 10 weeks. We didn't start TTC again until August '07 and got our BFP on the first try. So...about 9 months. Hope this helps.

I miscarried at 6w5d....the Dr told me to wait at least 1 cycle. However, we haven't been preventing...whatever if it happens its meant to be.

After my first, we waited one cycle. The only times we've waited longer than that is when I had to do testing/have my cycles monitored for possible causes.

I miscarried in July and we waited almost 4 months to TTC, dr. recommended waiting 3 months.

I had a D&C for a m/c at 9 weeks. We were told to wait until after 1 cycle, so that's what we did. I am getting ready to O soon, so hopefully in a couple weeks we'll have a BFP.

I m/c Oct 26, 2006....and didn't "really" start TTC until July-August 2007.
I got my BFP Oct. 26, 2007

We had a mc When i was 12 weeks. We never started trying again for 6 months but on my 7th month i was pg.

I mc'd (blighted ovum) at about 8 weeks. We didnt wait to try again.
I mc'd at about 6 weeks. We waited one cycle to try again.
There was a little over 15 months between the two.
Then about 16 months later I got pregnant again and my daughter was born still at 27weeks 5days. We waited the 2 months for testing to come back and then we started ttc again.

We're waiting the recommended one cycle before ttc again, very impatiently, though!

follow up d&c Nov 2nd 07
was told to wait until after my first AF, encouraged to wait a few months.
we waited until after my first AF.. and its now been two months trying with BFN results.

I miscarried at 5weeks, 6 days. The doctor told us to wait at least two or three cycles to start TTC (for emotional reasons she said). That was a month ago. In that month we were NT, NP.
AF showed up 25 days after my m/c, just like my normal cycle length. She hung out for a heavy five days, ate all the potato chips and chocolate in the house, then packed her bags and hopped on the train to Somewheresville.
After a follow-up visit to the doctor yesterday, I was given the green light to TTC. So we are!

I had a missed m/c and d&c at 11w2d (baby stopped growing 8w4d). One doc told us to wait 2-3 cycles (for emotional and dating reasons) and another doc said we could start ttc after one cycle. We waited 3 cycles and just started trying this month. I haven't even o'd yet tho...
