I mean, I know we all have our hard moments when we are missing our babies and thinking that should be me but I was wondering if anyone else still loves pregnant women?
I just want to rub their bellies when I see them. Even right after I m/c'd and last Friday when I got my sucky hcg numbers back. That same day I was still planning my neighbors baby shower and it's going to be at my house I can't wait until she comes over so I can rub her belly and make a wish LOL I remember I emailed her about my numbers and she was like, you shouldn't be worrying about my baby shower and that you should take care of youself (she had a m/c last year too) and I remember thinking, huh, why would she say that. Does she not want me to plan her baby shower? LOL Didn't even cross my mind that I'm "supposed" to feel differently.
So... who else loves pregnant women and what you you love most about them?

I love them too, and I still love seeing little tiny babies! Very occasionally it will make me a teeny bit sad, but 99% of the time it makes me so happy and hopeful to see both. I think it's b/c I know that I will be pg and have another healthy baby someday soon!

Its getting a little easier for me, but for the most part since my loss, it hurts to see glowing happy pregnant ppl, especially if they are as big as I shouldbe right now.

I think pregnant women are beautiful! I love 'em. I'd be lying if I didn't say that it stings a little when I see them, but I quickly get over it!!

Maybe it's a sense of hope.
As if we see our future in them, we will be like them very soon.
It's that optimisim that keeps us going.

I am the same way. It is VERY rare for me to have a *bad* moment. Where I work I spend a lot of time in the kids dept. It's my favorite place in the store Only once or twice have I had a moment where PG women or newborns bothered me.
I guess I always think of it as a miracle that a bay is growing. Not that my baby is gone. KWIM?
I always try and think of it as ... maybe this pregnant belly before me suffered more losses than I did? Who am I to know what this woman has gone through? Maybe this baby this woman is carrying is an IVF baby and somebody's hope, dreams and 401K all rolled into one?

I also wonder to myself if the prego women I see have had a loss also.
and I should add, i LOVE pregnant bellies, i am fascinated with them, and spot them everywhere!! but those first 4 months of my loss, before we decided to TTC, it hurt to see glowing pregnant people. I wanted to be a glowing pregnant person too. I was happy for them, but sad for me and that my baby wasnt growing nice and big inside of me....

I have to say ditto to that comment too!! That pretty much sums it up!! Of course I also have to say that I really can't have hard feeling toward other pg women since my sisters both fall into that group. It does hurt but it brings so much joy as well.

I am going to respond even though I am one of those "pregnant women"
A few months after my loss..it was HARD seeing bellies & babies......I tried to avoid them big time, but you can't. They are a beautiful and amazing part of life. I had to snap myself out of it because I am a very supersticious person, and was afraid any negative thoughts would affect my future as a potential mom, or even give a pregnant woman "the Overlooks" as we Italians call it.

I was the same way Dee, glad I am not alone, LOL. Its alot easier to see them now, unless they are big like I should be, then it stings a little. I am sure when my due date passed it will be MUCH easier to see cute prego bellies!! It is such a beautiful miracle to grow a whole baby inside our bellies!!!

The part I mourn the most when I see pregnant women is the innocent excitement of it, since I'll never get that again. But seeing a pregnant woman makes me smile.
Of course, the bellies never really bothered me since I was full term when I lost her. It was the deliriously happy mommies and teeny babies that got me.
