We've had mice, flying squirrels, gekkos, lizards, you name it. Unfortunately for them, we also have one of the fastest cats this side of the Atlantic

Of course! Old houses especially. I got one or two every winter when I lived in my first house - it's 75 years old. Been in this one two years and haven't had one yet - but its very common. Booo to rude people!

I'm honestly suprised we haven't had any mice, other than the one I mistakenly brought in myself hauling in a cabinet. If you live ANYWHERE near a field or woods, or heck, a piece of grass, mice will look for a warm winter home! and yours is nicely heated . . .

Yuppers. I sure have. My mom had a lot of mice in the winter in her older house runner. Sorry people are so rude! But just remember some people get cranky and they don't mean it... then again, some do. :/

Living in a house that 80 years old and on farmland. I would be surprised if you DIDN'T get a mouse or two in the winter.
We had a mouse last year and our house was only 5 yrs old. One got up in my car engine and ate wires.
That was not a cheap mouse.
Don't let ignorant people get you down.

I've definitely heard of getting mice during the winter! Like some of the other ladies have mentioned -- especially in older homes.
Some people just don't know when to be nice!

That's why I have a cat LOL I even found a bat in my wood stove when I opened it for the first time this winter. It must not have been able to get out after it got in and it was all dried and crusty and hanging my its tail from the pipe. I dont' get the mice that often but every once in a while in the winter time one or two find a way in. That is when I let my cat loose in the basement LOL
I say screw judgmental people. Nice people should rule the world!

My cats have killed three this year. They came in the dryer vent.
Some people have to mind their own buisness. LMAO
But Dee.... I gotta ask.....
What kind of FOOD do you feed those mice?
