As you all know, our very own much loved Astrid is having triplets. The ladies of the pregnancy loss board (and anyone else on Justmommies that would like to join in) are throwing her an online baby shower.

Here's how it will work. Astrid is registered online at Babies R Us, Walmart and Target. If you are interested in buying something for the babies off one of these registries please PM me, Lizard or VegasMom. We will give you the registry numbers and you should be able to have anything you buy shipped directly to Astrid. We do ask that anyone PMing for the information please have 100 posts on Justmommies. This is to protect Astrid's privacy.

The baby shower will be on January 27 (Sunday) at 7 PM EST during Pregnancy Loss Chat, held in the Mommy Room. We will all be there to chat as Astrid opens the gifts that have been shipped to her and tells us what she has received!

Please note if you would like to ship anything directly to Astrid (something not off the registry) please PM her for her mailing address. I know she would be happy to receive any baby clothes, including those larger sizes for when her babies quickly grow out of the small sizes! And of course she can use boy AND girl clothes since she is having 1 boy and 2 girls.

We all love Astrid and want to help make sure the triplets have everything they need when they arrive. Please join us for the baby shower Jan. 27; it is going to be a blast!

Cool I guess we should do some sort of sign up sheet and figure out how much the item is and divide it by how many are going in on it. I just thought it would be neat to get something from the whole group.

Hey girls! I just wanted to thank any & all of you considering participating in the shower. The girls caught me off guard w/ it & I honestly never expected to receive the love & support that I have received from JM. It is amazing how our cyber friends can end up being such an integral part of our lives & for me especially...my sanity! Being on bedrest hasn't been easy but I'm not letting it get me down. It is hard, no doubt but I know I have to keep baking these babies.

I would be up for splitting something big too! I think it'd be nice to get something bigger since most individuals won't be able to get the bigger items!

Astrid has been such a wonderful, supportive person to so many people on here. I really hope that she has an amazing *babies shower*

Here's my thoughts on how to do it:

1. Pick one person who is "in charge" of the TTCAL gift
2. Everyone from TTCAL tell that person how much they are willing to chip in
3. Pick the gift based on how much the total amount is
4. Everyone send their money to the person in charge. Paypal would be easiest way.
5. Person in charge buys gift!

Just my 2 cents. What do you guys think?
