well the dr's appt was pretty much a waste of time.

They did the beta count but of course, the lab didn't finish it by our appt so I have no idea what it will be. The dr said (and duh, I know that!) of course the symptoms will stay until the hormones drop and at this point we still might see a "slight" increase in the HCG's as the placental tissue grows until my body "figures it out". She still has no hope for the baby but did not do an u/s today so we still do not have THE answer.
She did not, however, have an answer as to why my belly seems to be expanding. I told her I lost weight but my belly was much bigger compared to what it should be for this weight.
we did find out that last week's betas were 13,000 so at least now we can track the betas. But I don't expect them to call me and tell me today's results. last week we asked for them and they never got back to us.
She said to call her as soon as i start bleeding, and if she doesn't hear from me she will call me in 2 weeks. I told her with the last pg I thought I had miscarried (cramping, bleeding, passed something) and then the HCG's had gone up and it turned out to be ectopic, and it took 6 weeks after the tube removal to get any bleeding, and she said, so you know you might have a long wait.
story of my life, wait, wait, wait, and then wait some more . . .
you're right, Bobbie, I am going to enjoy every bit of being pg as long as I can!
