Well I just got off the phone with the doctor. She is putting me on Clomid. I have to take it on CD 5-9 with CD 11-17 being my fertile days. I'm suppose to BD every other day during that time. She also wants me to continue taking me temps and I can continue using OPK's. They are sending me a chart to record my temps and days that I BD. She said that it will increase my chances by double and that there is the chance of mulitpules (sp). She also warned me about the hot flashes and mood swings. I have to go pick them up today. So now AF can get here so I can start them. Ok just wanted to update.

Forgot to add that the doctor said that if after a few months on Clomid I still dont get pg then we will have to start looking into IUI or IVF

Angela, I am going to start clomid after my next AF (next mo). Sometimes clomid makes CM thick, and not ew. I was told to take robitussin to help thin the secretions. If your secretions are thick, the sperm can't travel to the egg. Hopefully this will help you get a quicker!!
GOOD LUCK!

Nah.... you aren't gonna need it... you are going to get PG THIS cycle.

You are supposed to take Robitussin with only ingredient Gueisftefin (or something like that!) I can look it up if no one else types it right Okay here is the link....and man did I spell it wrong!

I wish you the best of luck Angela! Clomid was an evil drug for me in the sense that I had HORRIBLE hot flashes. BLAH! It did get me to O but also thinned out my lining w/ every consecutive cycle on it. Hopefully you will get a BEAUTIFUL BFP in no time at all!

Thankx girls. I got the store brand robitussin with the only active ingredient Guaifenesin. I am going to start taking it the day after I take my last pill till a couple of days after I O. I'll be taking 2 tsp 3x a day. Hope it works.

Yep, thats right, plain robitussin. The other thing you can take is mucinex. I think it's more expensive, but I think it comes in pill form.
