Storm and I are playing and he's sooooo funny. He makes these funny noises so we gave him the nickname Chewy from Star Wars. He does the noises instead of barking. We are getting another one in the spring this time a girl. Hope she's as much fun to play with as Storm. Here's a picture of "chewy"

dog noises are the best. Our lab howls with ambulance and firetruck sirens. It's hysterical. It always seems to catch us off guard when he does it. Last saturday he reached a new depth in his howling ability. It was so deep, it took us a minute to realize where the noise was coming from. I love dogs!

OMG I am so glad to NOT be the only one with a dog that "talks"!!! Carl makes the funny noises, but sometimes he also does the full snarly growl, showing teeth and fur up and he really looks like he's going to rip you to pieces but that's his happy noise (and it took us awhile to learn that! we thought he was going to be a problem dog at first with all that noise). He does this while he's being petted and then if you stop, he stops and looks at you like, c'mon, pet me some more!!! then you do, and the noise starts up again. it really freaks some people out since he is a rottweiler - it's so hard to explain that when he's doing that he is completely happy and is NOT going to hurt anyone, he never has! He's about 9 1/2 now, and is SUCH a goofy, funny dog!
