O/T feel so bad for DH

I feel soooo bad for DH. He works really hard as a steel metal worker. Well last week they started working at 5am instead of 7am and they had to work Saturday the same 5-3. Well they are still working 5-3 this week and now they may have to work Saturday and Sunday. I feel really bad for him. He's in bed anywhere from 7-8 at night. He gets up at 3:45am becuase it takes about 30-45 min to get to work. It sucks that I dont get to see him much because of the F*&*ed up schedule but what can you do. I really hope that it doesnt last to long. We are suppose to go up north next weekend and hope that if they say they need to work that he tells them NO I HAVE PLANS! They can do that but DH is one of those guys that wont say no to them. I feel so bad for him.

That totally stinks for both dh and you! I am sure that the overtime money is nice, but all those hours away from home really stink, especially considering his long commute. I really hope he is able to tell them no about next weekend so that you guys can keep your plans!

I hope you two are able to go away next weekend!!! I know what you mean about him not being able to tell them no, Dwayne is the same way!!!!

that really does stink. My DH is the same way-just wont' say no to his work. They recently have been springing weekend work on him too. I asked him to make sure he had Saturday off b/c I had something special I wanted to do (I was trying to work out a cheap weekend away before school started back up). His supervisor told him that he would definitely be off, no worries. Then, on Thursday night, as he was leaving work, he went to clock out and there was a note saying all drivers were required to work Saturday. It's just so disrespectful of the company to treat their employees like that.

Yeah I hate that we only get to spend about 3 hours a day together because of the shifts. We havent even been able to BD because he is so tired when he gets home and then on top of that he has a bug. I think its the flu but he wont go to the doctor. Men!!
