Okay, so today I have had an UNBELIEVABLE amount of ewcm today (tmi I know). Am I ovulating??? I'm so confused by my body since I stopped breastfeeding. I have no idea what's going on! So then, the question is, do I seduce my husband even though he doesn't really want to TTC right now? And his sister is in town, so that would be slightly awkward.
*sigh*

You might be. Did you ever have your period? I know post b/f and the transition to starting your period can be real weird... I would say that DTD never hurts so go have fun
Are you using any type of protection or just pull out or nothing?

No, I haven't gotten a period yet.
We've been using condoms, which is frustrating because I'm allergic to latex so we have to get the expensive non-latex ones. We WERE using a spermicide, but I developed an allergy to that.
I don't trust the pull-out method.
But, I've decided to at least wait this out. I want to get a period so I can be sure of my dates, etc. Not only that, but I want my DH to be on board the TTC wagon. It feels dishonest to try to get him to dtd unprotected when I think I'm fertile when he's said he doesn't want to TTC right now. And above all I value the honesty in my marriage.
So, I'll just be living vicariously through everyone else.

well, are you honestly horny? If so, just enjoy what marriage and a man has to offer. And if a condom is inconvenient, then so be it. And you don't know if you are really fertile right? I had ewcm around what would be a normal ovulation time after my d&c, but it wasn't accurate. So who knows. You have to do what feels right to you. You could tell him that you might be or might not be fertile, but that you didn't want to make a big deal of not TTC.

I say you be honest with him and just tell him you want him! Let him deal with the rest!

So I tried to seduce him last night. Yes, I honestly wanted it. We were getting really into it and then DH said it was really awkward because his sister is here, and was in the front room (she's sleeping on the couch) and she wasn't asleep yet. I was still trying to get him to, and then he said "would we use a condom?" And I said, "well, it's up to you..." and he said "Yes, I think so, because I think you're ovulating."
But then he was still really awkward, and we ended up not going through with it.
I initiated it and DH said no! BAH!
He did say "It seems a waste to not take advantage of your mood though..."

Yeah, it's about the only time I want it enough to initiate it!
Well, again I think I'm going to have to sit this cycle out. It feels good to have my body acting semi predictably though!
Thing is, I'm still horny, and Kim isn't leaving until tomorrow evening.

Thats how I conceived last time. DF's niece was staying with us for 3 wks. She was sleeping on a blowup mattress in the front room. Our stupid heater is a wall heater that connects the living room and bedroom. Although, it wasn't awkward for us, more sneaky-naughty. LOL!

I'm SO tempted, but I don't think I could convince him to not use protection. I'll wait for next cycle. Maybe DH will be on board the TTC wagon by then...
