Ok I am so confused and worried and upset right now.

I started my m/c Dec11 and on Dec 17th 'everything' passed. Went to the Dr on the 18th and she said good, cervix is closed, you are good to go. Then last week I spotted for about 5 days. This week I had my period for I think 5 days. then it ended I guess Thursday night. So today I haven't even used a pantyliner.

Well I went to the bathroom a little while ago and wiped alot of blood so I thought ok AF is back. It sucked, but I hear it's normal so ok whatever. Now it's been like an hour and I went to pee again and I felt/heard something hit the water (the TMI gets worse from here) I look and though it was small I knew it didn't look like a regular AF clot. I scooped it out and it is not just blood?! It like the size of a dime but rounded.

What is it? Is it left over from my m/c? should I worry? Should I be crying like I am?

Thanks for listening to my very gross story

It's not gross at all. HUGS. Did the doctor do another u/s after you completed your m/c to be sure all tissue was gone? It could be leftover tissue. Were your levels checked to make sure you were below 5? I am sorry you had to go through that again. Whatever it was, whether a larger blood clot or tissue you have every right to cry. Why don't you call the doc on Monday to talk with her about it.

I am sorry HUGS

Agree with PP, could be leftover tissue if the doc didn't do an u/s to check everything had cleared.

I would give her a call on monday, maybe she could do a scan just to give you some reassurance?

I am sorry you are going through this, it must be very emotional after you thought it was all over.

I had an u/s on 12/11 then started my m/c then on 12/13 she did another and saw I wasn't done. After passing the baby on the 17th I went back to Dr on the 18th. She didn't do another u/s just an exam. She seemed like I was done and everything would be 'normal' from then on and to expect my period in about a month.

I mean I guess you ladies are right that it is just some leftover. It just hurts so bad, I thought I was done. It's like it will never end. When I passed the baby I had thought I was already done then too, it came as a complete shock then too.

Thanks ladies for being here

awww.. ((HUGS!))

its okay to cry..its like reliving that original pain! i know how it feels ...i thought i had stopped bleeding too and then out of now where i started getting some bad cramps and passed more "tissue"...

Its great that your body is doing what it needs to do though! i ended up having to go in for a follow up d&c... So you are blessed in a way...

I also would think its tissue but cant be sure. When mine passed it was all at once bled for a few days bit like AF then lucky enough to start AF as normal again. I hope it is something as simple as tissue. Sending you hugs, perfectly normal to be vrying....I would be

Jademyst, I can't tell you what you may have passed, but I hope that it's just extra endometrial lining from AF, perhaps with a weird texture. (I also remember reading that your lining is thicker this first AF, too...)

I will think good thoughts for you that what you're experiencing is "normal" (even if it feels like that word doesn't apply to us right now!).

I think it must be extra tissue too. 11 days after my d&c I had to go to the ER b/c I was passing HUGE clots, and they said that it was probably left over tissue.
I understand how sad you must feel. I was just starting to heal when that happened, and then I felt sad all over again
I would definitely call tomorrow and ask for an u/s to make sure everything is out.

Jenn I'm so sorry you're going through this!!!

I agree with the other ladies in going to see the doctor again, just to be sure.

Poor thing!!! If they didn't another ultrasound after what you considered the completion of the m/c it could indeed be left over tissue. I am so sorry you are going through this.

After it passed the bleeding stopped completely. I had noticed, but didn't think much of it but when I went and wiped all that blood the first time it was real bright like during my m/c. This stuff just plain sucks.

Anyway I just wanted to say thanks to everyone. It really helped to have some friends to turn to
