Wow! I can't quite express how much it hurts my heart to see so many of you wonderful ladies affected negatively here recently. A downright abysmal event (or more than one) connects us all, and it seems unfathomable for any of us to have to go through more heartache.

I felt the need to do more than offer condolences, so I visited two virtual candle-lighting sites, typed in a small prayer, and lit two candles. I don't know if anyone else hates feeling helpless, but I thought I'd share the idea should anyone else want to light a candle for themselves or someone else:

virtual-candle.org or gratefulness.org

Both are non-denominational.

(I don't think I've broken any JM commandments by listing the sites in a post, but I apologize and claim newbie ignorance if so...)

I know what you mean completely, it is sad when we have to come together just because we have experienced such tragic loses.

On gratefulness.org I lit three candles. One for Aspen, one for Skyla & one for healing after miscarriage and faith and hope for the future.
