I was just wondering... I ovulated (most likely yesterday). Implantation usually takes occur when? Before ovulation, during, after?? I assume after but I just want to make sure... How long does implantation take? How long after implantation do your HCG levels begin to multiply? Thanks in advance for any answers!

*If* I'm remembering correctly, implantation occurs 4-7 days after conception. It's not until then that the hcg is produced.

i was thinking more like 6-10days after the egg is fertilized. You need a few days of the fertilized egg road tripping down the fallopian tubes into the uterus.

Yep, you're right:

Quote:
Generally, if an egg is going to be fertilized and conception is going to occur, it will have to happen in a 24-hour period after ovulation. The egg won't survive in the fallopian tube much longer than this. Once the egg is fertilized, it will travel to the uterus for implantation. As it travels, it will continue to grow in size, its cells dividing and reproducing. The process of traveling and implanting will take somewhere around 7 to 10 days altogether.[/b]
