Getting Pregnant

So what with the ovulation cramps and then I saw EWCM just now, I figure maybe I haven't Oed yet. Or that I just Oed. I don't know. But I hate to miss an opportunity.

So I am taking Dh up on his offer that after he comes home from his meeting at noon, we can get it on. LOL

I usually go to work at 12:30 pm so I called in and told them I was going to be late and would not be in until 2:30 or 3:30.

I then had my co-worker that I'm friends with call me from work and tell me I was a slacker and why was I calling in late. LMAO (She knows about the m/c and TTC by the way.) So I told her, well, something came up. And she was like you liar! Tell me! Tell me! So I was like "Well, it's that time of the month and David was up all last night working on stuff for a meeting and he's coming home at noon." Then she was confused b/c she thought I meant my period when I said "that time of the month" but once she figured it out she was like "OOOOOh" and we both laughed our butts off. She said she'd be thinking of me at 12:30 when I am supposed to be there at work, LOL. I mean, given the choice which would you pick? Work? Or baby making?

I am getting freaked out and really upset.

He was supposed to leave work at noon but it almost 1:30 and he still isn't here yet. He isn't answering any phones. I am so worried something happened to him.

And even if not, I told them I would be at work at 2:30 or 3:30 so the clock is ticking...

I have been calling his work phone and his cell phone and no answer on either.

I told him I was calling in late to work, maybe his misheard and thought I was calling and not going into work at all and he's still up there but not in his office? I don't know.

I'm just afraid he crashed the car or something, I don't know. Things like this freak me out when I can't reach him.

i woulda probably been so mad that he never called me to tell me he was going to be late that i wouldnt have wanted to BD and just left for work early..

I ended up going to work. He called me MUCH later and it turns out there was a misunderstanding. I guess when I called him he was in such a hurry that he wasn't really listening and he thought I was telling him I was calling in late and that I was leaving at noon. He misunderstood that I was asking if HE was coming home at noon. I didn't specifically say I needed him for sex, because I knew he was in a meeting and was afraid someone might overhear, but I thought he'd get that because we had talked about the possibility the night before. Anyway, he felt bad about it. We ended up DTD when I got home from work at midnight.

What sucks about is that I freaked out over nothing and now I'm worried that that messed up our chances this month, stress hormones and all that. Dh thinks it probably doesn't matter.

Whenever I can't reach Dh, I start thinking something has happened to him and I panic. It's not a good reaction or one that I want to have, it just does. I can't imagine my life without this man and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him.
