I am still trying to figure out evaps! I never really see them but this morning I took a test (First response) and it was a BFN..... now when I look at it I can see a line when I hold it in the light. The line is more noticiable on the edges of the strip. I took the test apart so I am just looking at the little strip. Does this sound like an evap? I think I know the answer, but trying to stay optimistic!
Sometimes evaps are just because it takes a while for the hcg to bind to the line, sometimes they aren't anything. You will have to use another test tomorrow. I hope it isn't just an evap for you. GL

I had an evap on a FRER and it came up BFN in the first few minutes and I didn't wait the full 10 min, I went back to bed and then looked at it later. The edges were more pink, but the middle of the line was very light pink, so even though it was all pink, it was not a solid same-darkness line throughout.
hop that helped!
Thank you all for your replies! I wish I could post a picture, but I am computer challenged and don't know how....
I went and bought some tests from DT and got another BFN!! I swear I am looking so hard in every light and every angle to see a line!! I am going crazy!! I guess it's not over till AF shows!! I'll keep my fingers crossed and test again in the morning! I'll keep you posted!!
I wish I could see the pic. I will be crossing my fingers for you though. I totally know what you mean about holding the pic in every angle in all lights to try to see something. I swear I should just get a microscope so I can get my close ups!
It sounds like an evap.... but there is no way to tell for sure if it was after the 10 minute time limit. We have a picture gallery above with evap pics...maybe that will help
I soooo hope it's a BFP.....
