What are the odds of having a successful pregnancy if you get pregnant before your first period post m/c?

Honestly.... I have heard or more people who carry babies to term than m/c.

Soooo.... are you just asking... or is it maybe..... a possibility?

<fingers crossed>

HAHA, you catch on to everything Judy

I don't think I am but we dtd on Friday and Sunday even though we weren't planning to and I had EWCM yesterday... I actually didn't think I'd ovulate the first month post m/c just cause I don't think I did last time. Makes me wonder. I guess I am a little worried about the what ifs but I didn't want to post that because I think everyone posts this worry when they are waiting for their first AF and I don't want to be like a broken record...

HEHE that would be awesome. From what I have heard the main reason they dont want you to get pregnant before AF is because of dating purposes. Makes it harder on them to know how far along you are.

I have a friend thats about 20weeks pg and this baby was consieved the first cycle after her miscarriage. Her and baby are both fine but I'm not sure of the odds for it.

I'm scared for the same reason though. DH and I DTD on Sunday and all day yesterday and today I have had EWCM.

I read after I had my m/c that after you m/c you are VERY fertile. I can't remember where I read this, but I did. I have my fingers crossed for you....Oh, that would be terrific! Here's some baby dust...
Let us know.

I hope you are too...that would be awesome

I have read anecdotally on pg websites about people saying they are more fertile after a m/c. I haven't read any scientific evidence to back this up though. I don't even think I ovulated the month after mine...

I've also heard you are more fertile. A friend of mine had TWINS the first cycle afterwards. How's that sound Danica? So, when can you test????

Oh my goodness girls I was asking the odds of having a viable pregnancy and now you've got me thinking how darn fertile I could be. AHHHHH I don't want to be in the 2ww. It takes too long and I have mixed feelings about it if for some miracle I did conceive... LOL

I'm not planning on testing unless I get some symptoms but I'll definately keep everyone posted Thanks for the kind words.
