Baby Update with Pic!!

I thought all you JM aunties would like an update and see my baby bean

This will be you all soon! I know it!

I barely slept a wink last night, I was soooooooooooo scared, had some crazy dreams.

Anyway, we went to the appt, both of our tummies were VERY upset, LOL, my poor hubby looked so sick.

I just cannot explain how terrified I was of being in that same room, and possibly hearing that same news. I cant even put into words how scared I was, I am sure some of you can relate.

My Dr. was WONDERFUL!! Completely understood how we were feeling and said "I think everything is going to be okay" I really needed to hear that!! I was all ready to hear bad news, I know pessimistic, but I was preparing myself, but praying with ALL my heart that we would get GREAT news.

So he got started and I wanted to look at the screen, but I couldnt, I was so scared, so I said "is there a baby" and he said "yeah there is a baby", then I tried to look but couldnt, and said "is there a heartbeat" and he said "yeah theres a heartbeat" and then the tears flowed, LOL. I was sooooooooooooo relieved and soooooooooooooooooo happy!!!! So I was able to look at my sweet baby and see his/her heart thumping away, its the most precious feeling!!!

The heart rate was 119 Beats per minute

and my due date got moved BACK!! Woohoo!! So it is now September 26th, and instead of being 6wks 1day today, I am 6wks 4days! WHOOT! This is my first pregnancy I was actually able to jump forward in the pregnancy, LOL, normally I ovulate late, and get pushed backward.

Anyway, NO subchorionic hematoma!! which is GREAT news, I had one with both last pregnancies.

and I am already on progesterone suppositories, so dont have to worry about low progesterone.

My Dr. has me on modified rest because of my previous high risk pregnancies, he is treating this high risk as well. So no sex, strenuous activity, etc... lots of resting.

I am just soooooooooo happy and relieved and am going to start rubbing my belly and enjoying this pregnancy from now on!!!

Oh, how awesome! I'd be crying too. I am sooo glad you got good news and got to see a heartbeat! Thanks so much for updating us. YAY!!!!

What a cute little blob you have there! My first ultrasound I had with Erin was at 6w4d. A little blob with a heartbeat and it was the best news in the world.

That is SO awesome!! I'm glad those ultrasound techs can read those things, cause I can never make heads or tails out of anything I see in an ultrasound. I'm so glad you got to see a thumping heart -- makes my heart thump a little faster!!

aww! the image of you sitting there not wanting to look then hearing there was a heartbeat made me tear up for you!

Congratulations!! What a cute bean! I was just like that with this pregnancy only it was at my 12 week scan. I wouldn't look at the screen, the tech finally said, ahhh, you can look....and started pointing out the parts! I was so overjoyed, tears just streamed (I got the bad news with my m/c in August at the 12 week scan, so it was an emotional appt. too). Your post brought that moment back and I could totally feel it for you!
