what's funny is that I think I do more stuff at your guys's urging than anyone else's! Experience counts for more in my book. So I made the call to the new clinic . . . they recommended 2 OB's based on my story, and the earliest I can get in is Feb 26th, but before they commit to that appt date the lady I talked to wanted to talk to the nurses first and see if it's okay for me to wait that long, which it should be unless I start having signs of m/c or an infection. She said I could get in sooner with another OB, but I said I'd rather have one of the original recommendations, they have both been there a long time with lots of experience in high risk and are some of the top OB's in Mpls/St. paul. Don't want to take a chance with someone less experienced.

So now i wait for a call back . . .

I don't know when they'll call back. They *should* be calling me back today to make the appt, but they needed my records first so they know exactly what I need during the appt. So I had to go down to the local hospital to get my records released to the new clinic, and they promised

they would fax my records today . . . I'll believe that when I see it!

oh well, at least the doggies got to go for a truck ride with me! 'course, now all the windows are all slobbered up . . .

That is good news. It sounds like you will be in great hands. I hate that you have to wait for so long, but I'm really hoping by then you are feeling strong kicks- not flutters.

just got off the phone with the medical records dept, they don't want to fax my records bc just Nov - current is well over 100 pages!

So I told them to fax starting from the 12/28 ultrasound and end with the 12/31 surgery and mail the rest. and to MAKE SURE they let the new clinic know why they are only faxing partial records and what to expect in the mail. They said they would call the new clinic (to get their address) and let them know also about the fax.

That totally sucks!!!!! They should mail it priority to make sure they get it all this week.

Anne, is there any way they would let you pick up the records and hand deliver them? It might save you a few days!

I wish. they are such a PITA here. to get your hands personally on your records it will take at least 1 week, had to go thru that with them before! But if they can fax them the same day, how is that different from pushing START on the copy machine???

The new clinic called this morning, they faxed a bunch of stuff over, said it was a huge stack and I told them it probably wasn't everything! So now I am scheduled to go in tomorrow morning between 9 - 10 am for a HCG quant (stat) and then an u/s at 2pm and consult with a dr at 2:15. I just hope that if I need a D&C they can do it right away.
