Hi ladies, I haven't posted here before but I had a question that you might be able to answer, I hope.

I had an ectopic pregnancy removed from my right tube back in August. My tube was starting to rupture and I've never been sure if they removed part or all of it.

Anyway, I am experiencing similar pains in my right side again. Is it possible that it's happening again? Could that happen?

anything is possible . . . but I don't think you should use me as an example I haven't had a "normal" pg yet! I have 1/2 of my left tube and my right was totally removed, but this pg (IVF), one of the babies implanted in the tiny opening in the uterus where my right tube would be if I still had one and ruptured my uterus .

If you're feeling similar pain, I'd say go in and make the dr's check it out. Sometimes they just assume and they need to look harder!!!

Thank you for your reply. I am prepared to go in if the pain gets worse. I've kinda been following your journey and I wish you the best of luck!

I would definitely find out what they actually did, that way you know for sure if you need to worry about a possible 2nd ectopic in that tube. And go in if the pain continues or gets worse. Mine was close to the opening of the fallopian tube, so they only had to remove the part where they ectopic was. I still get pains on that side, but he also removed a cyst off of my right ovary. So I'm not sure which thing area is causing the pains. But I'm only 2.5 months post-op also. Good luck!

I am sorry about your loss. I had an ectopic in October and lost all of my right tube. I still get pains on my right side and the doctor said it is normal b/c it is the scare tissue stretching. BUT than again I am pregnant currently. Have you taken an HPT lately???

It could just be scare tissue or a cycst. I had one on my left ovary that felt very similar. In anycase go to your doctor and ask for an u/s just to be sure. You'll feel better.

I had an ectopic last June, and my left tube was completely removed. I get aches and pains over there, but nothing that has led me to think it was happening again, but then again, all of my tube is gone. I wouldn't say that it would be impossible, so if I were you, I'd get it checked out!! I would hate for that to happen again.

Thank you so much for your replies. The pain has subsided but I still feel something there. I have had frequent aches and pains throughout my cycle (I am glad to see that is normal!) but nothing quite as strong as earlier.

I'm so happy to see that 2 of you are pregnant again so soon, congrats! Just curious if you notice any extra feeling, twinges, etc in your tube now that you are pregnant?
