So I'm officially on the 33rd day of my cycle. According to my doctor, I should have ovulated on the 24th, which makes me (now) 17dpo. Clomid was supposed to make my cycles 31 days on the dot (to quote my doctor) yet it has yet to arrive. I haven't had any cramps, or any signs of it in fact. My cervix is extremely "lotiony" (more so than I have ever noticed) but it isn't quite as soft as it was awhile ago, though it's not rigid either. For the last 6 days almost I have taken a pregnancy test, each one resulting in a negative. I guess my question is: Should I even hold out hope for a positive result? I don't want "Here's hoping" from people that really doubt it. I want honest to God truths. Is 17dpo/33cd a little late yielding a positive? And, if so, or even if not, what should I do if tomorrow yields another day of no AF or BFP? Should I see my doctor, or wait it out a little longer?

Even though most people probably would have gotten a BFP by now, I have heard plenty of people who don't get them at all or it's a while into their pregnancy before the hcg starts registering on a HPT. Maybe you are one of those few people?!?

My question for you is this, I know you chart, but were your doctors doing follicle following, bw, or anything to confirm ovulation? My SIL was on Clomid for several months and only actually ovulated a couple of those, and the only reason they knew is because they were doing the follicle following...

Finally, if I were you, I would wait maybe a day or two, but then I'd be calling my doctor. If he guaranteed you a 31 day cycle, then I would call him and ask him to find out why something hasn't happened yet!

IMO, I woudl definately hold out hope. There is always hope and I swear I see a faint line on the pics that you posted. I dont' know much about Clomid but doesn't it make it so you sometimes ovulate twice? Maybe if that were the case you O'd later the 2nd time so it will just take a little longer for the baby to show. I know everyone here hates blue dye test but I swear I get results faster on those. Maybe try an EPT. The EPT I did the other day picked up results one day when I was at 17 hcg and also pickep up results the day before that. Very faint but still. I would also call the doctor to convince her to give you a blood test if AF doesn't show by tomorrow. Please kup

I agree with Danica, if AF doesn't show by tomorrow call the Dr. and ask for bloodwork

Yes, my doctor did an egg follicle study and that's why I know I ovulated on the 24th. Just a little update: AF still hasn't showed. I was thinking of taking a blue EPT.

I tested with a cheap(er) brand and it doesn't look hopeful. I think I'll call the doctor tomorrow if AF's still not here.

I'm still waiting for my post-miscarriage period. My first post-miscarriage period with my first miscarriage came just 19 days after I miscarried. I haven't had it yet with this miscarriage, and it's day 33 since I miscarried. I had some slight brownish spotting last night, but nothing since.

Where is AF? I don't think I've ever been this anxious to see her in my life!!
