We're going to go look and test drive today and hopefully figure out what we want, then actually go buy something later this week.

Does anyone have any of the following: Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Toyota Corrolla, Toyota Camry, Nissan Sentra, Nissan Altima?

If you've bought any of these in the past couple years, could you let me know what you like and dislike about it?

Woot! Soon I will have a new car! I had to rent a car yesterday to get to work. Dh is borrowing his grandparent's suburban for now.

Our oldest car that broke is going to be sold to a salvage yard. Our minivan *might* be able to be fixed. If not, we'll have to go look for a used car to replace it. Until then Dh will keep using the suburban.

I am carless until we get our new car. I'm taking off work on Wednesday so that I don't have to keep paying for a rental.

How Exciting!!! New car!!! WOOHOOO!!! I don't have any of those cars, but my mom has a Camry and has had it for about 4 years and it has NEVER given her a bit of trouble. They are nice and roomy and drive really well. But toyotas are pretty good cars. Let us know what you decide to get!

DH & I have a Toyota Matrix, which is part of the Corolla line. I love it. It has 4 wheel drive and good clearance, the back seat is bench style, so there's lots of leg room. We are avid Toyota fans.

I had a Corolla that I LOVED LOVED LOVED! Only sold it cause we got the minivan. I would buy another Toyota any day. That car got 42 mpg and it had over 200,000 miles on it when I sold it and the only thing I ever did to it was change the oil, the battery, the tires and one air fan belt in 10 years!!

DH also had an Accord that was pretty much the same way, oh and he had a Civic for a while to that he liked. My mama had a Camry that she loved. Same thing got great gas mileage and ran forever. I love the new Camry Hybrids. My old landlord had one and it was so smooth.

I asked DH what he thought about the car, he said he loves it! No problems at all, and it was a used car when he bought it!

I llllloooooovvve car shopping. I love cars! I have to say that I have owned 3 honda accords in my lifetime. Love honda! Great resale, dependable, nice build. I only got rid of my honda because I wanted a BMW. Of course I loved my BMW too, but sold it when it was almost out of warrenty because they are too expensive to maintain. Honda isn't bad to maintain. I have test drove a few nissans, and prefer the Honda. I feel that the interiors are better built. Good luck on test driving. Oh, I wish I was you right now! LOL I have a mini cooper S. Fun car, fast, but we will need to change up if we have a baby.

Danica, Dan drives a white outback 2.5. He Loves his car. It's great with the dogs, handles well, built very sound.

Thanks for all your input! We looked at Toyotas today. Dh wasn't crazy about the leg room in the Camry. The Corolla he wants a 2008 instead of a 2009 and it's hard to find those with side airbags so I dunno.

He is taking a half day off tomorrow and we are looking some more. I bet we end up with a Honda Civic.

I'm not a "car person" but it is exciting to know I will be getting my first new car EVER.
