I decided I am going to start working out again too. I need to drop 10 pounds and it keeps my mind off baby making. I can focus only on my breathing so it is relaxing. I just did a work out video. Talk about embarrasing if anyone saw me. I did that "rock your body" dance video. OMG, I was tripping over my own feet. Maybe later today I'll take Naden into town and run around the lake It is a nice day out.
Who's joing the excercise klan?

I am...I used to bike an hour a day...then ended up having bleeding with last pregnancy and stopped. Then m/c and 3 days later was in a car accident and messed up my back, and now I am trying to get back in the groove. Starting with a half hour a day and going to work up from there.

I think I will try to do that, too. I could stand to lose a few pounds. Count me in.

I need to get one of those tickers like Katie has but then that would require me to weigh myself and I don't want to

I am doing Weight Watchers. I have only been on it for 2 weeks so far and have lost 6.4 lbs
Now I just need to get to the YMCA and workout. I am rediculous. My DD goes to a Y daycare so we get a free family membership.
I have no excuse not to go.

I really need to get back to doing my treadmill at least 3x a week. My schedule has been so mixed up lately that I don't end up having time until the evening. Of course, I never feel like it then, but I need to get off my lazy butt & do it anyhow. Of course, that would mean less JM time...hmmm?

Katie, I sooo wish I had free gym membership. I am in an argument with my gym right now and am in the process of cancelling it. That is awesome about the weight watchers. Is it hard? Is that the one where you count points?
Do you guys have any other video recommendations? Anyone tried the belly dancing ones? HEHE, I totally agree about hoping no one tapes me. I should close all blinds so there are no peekers

I keep seeing a commercial for Richard Simmon's videos being re-released!
I was telling DH about this thread (he's sitting next to me on his computer working from home) and this is what he did: in case you're wondering HOG means "husband of greenchild".
Funny man!!! Keep in mind he is a bicycling fanatic!!! Keeps trying to tell me that he's going to get me a new bike and make me try to keep up with him . . .yeah, whatever!!

ROTFL!
OMG Anne, tell HOG I'll take his advice if he comes over and babysits Naden
Actually it's a great idea. I think I'll go buy one of those seats to hook onto my bike for Naden!

DH says don't get one of those seats, it's too dangerous for Naden if you fall down. Look into Burley bicycle trailers on ebay or craig's list. and to stay away from Trek, they are overpriced and really heavy.

I don't really think it's hard at all. I do the Flex Plan which is counting points. I did it a few years back and lost 30 lbs. It took me about 6 months to loose the weight. Of course I have gained it all back so that is why I am back at it.
I had a dream a few weeks ago that I was at the OB and they weighed me. The Dr was concerned with the weight I had gained and when I explained to him that it wasn't that i had gained 30 lbs it was just that I had received it back, it was mine to begin with he was ok with it.
When you are justifying your weight gain in your dreams you have a problem.

Hi Mindy! Glad to see you online again and hear that morning sickness has tapered off!
That is a great justification Katie Sounds logical to me!
Anne, I'll look into those ones the HOG recommended. It's been a while since I went to REI anyway! I'll find a model / style I like then get on craigslist!

I'm already on this bandwagon! lol.
I'm not doing weight watchers, I'm an old fashioned calorie counter. I really like http://www.thedailyplate.com/ All you have to do is search for the foods you've eaten and it usually already has the calories per serving. That even includes restaurants and stuff. Most of the time. I've had to add nutrition facts for some foods before.
I can track my weight and measurements, along with daily physical activity and foods I've eaten, and it's been really good for me! I've already lost an inch on my waist, and I almost fit into my pants again! It just makes me responsible for what I eat each day, so I pay attention and stop eating junk. Plus, it makes me want to be more active, so I can input that and "lose" more calories! lol.
I also have a tae bo video and a yoga dvd, but I never get the time to do them. Erin won't let me.

I've been working out. Almost everyday. I've even done an 11mi walk and 22mi round trip bike ride in there somewhere. Once the weather gets nicer again I will continue to make long journeys. Wanting to lose weight is the only thing that almost want to wait to TTC, but umm nope still not gonna wait

I need to get back on track! My ectopic threw me off. I casually follow the Weighter Watcher guidlines, I did the program before and I love it. I LOVE Yoga Booty Ballet tapes! Well, the live ones mostly. I've done turbo jam also, but I prefer YBB. And once the snow is all gone, we're going to be going for walks/bike rides/trips to the park. I still have 2 more lbs I want to lose before I get pregnant(in 2.5 weeks ). that leave me 20lbs lighter to start than I was my last pregnancy. So hopefully I will have lost 62lbs since DD birth!
Too funny!!
