That sounds so cool about the new house. Hopefully the new addition will come either before or after the house. Either way is good, right? I'm happy for you. Now you have something positive to focus on. That should be fun. Do you have to do a lot to sell your home you live in now?

Thanks for asking. I am getting really excited!

I think this is a blessing for me and I think DH thinks the same thing too! We will make it work regardless! Either way is good. We are hoping for a baby at the end of this year, so if we have to live in a dinky place for a while, we can do whatever. Our new home will be a lot bigger so we'll have plenty of room then.

No, our house doesn't need too much work. It is almost 30 years old, but we were hit by a tornado about 4 years ago, and got a new roof and did a ton of updates inside the house then. We have a guy coming out over the weekend to texture and paint the two rooms that have wallpaper in them. Then I think we'll have wood floors put down in our entry way (we have tile but it's a little outdated) and possibly the kitchen. Other than that, just some work outside getting the lawn/flowerbeds in good shape. I think we can make some $$ off of it. We bought it 6 1/2 years ago and have added a lot to it since then plus it sets on almost 2 acres.

That sounds great. I hope you get to sale it for what you want and move on to something better. Good luck!
