MEN! Sheesh!! so we have this 1995 Dodge Ram. when we first got it, he didn't want me to drive it, let alone even have keys to it bc it was his toy. sure, okay. I let that last until he locked himself out of the truck while at work. I just bided my time, knowing eventually the truck would be MINE!!! (I love trucks, I basically grew up in the garage with my dad) which it is now, hehehe, as we switched vehicles for the gas mileage since he has a 1 1/2 hr one-way commute to work (although now he only has to commute twice/week but the truck is still my primary vehicle! ).

So, awhile back I turned the key to start it and got nothing. ***?? Tried it again and off I went. didn't think much of it until it happened again months later. Now, both times I tell DH about this, he says, you just don't know how to start the truck, basically I am a GIRL and trucks are for MEN. yeah, whatever!!! (as I smack him upside the head . . .) HA!!! finally happened to him too!!!!! so it's not just me!!!

okay, so now we've known about this problem for awhile, that it is the starter motor, and I keep telling him it's happening more and more often and that it NEEDS replacement, which he is fully capable of doing rather than taking it somewhere. oh, no, it's fine, it always starts for me . . . yeah, whatever. now it won't start at all!! so he's outside right now in the cold & snow trying to remove it so we don't have to pay the core charge when getting the new one.

When will MEN ever start to LISTEN?????

That is hilarious. That sounds JUST like my father.

Fortunately my DH knows that he is clueless when it comes to vehicles.
I mean for goodness sake, he still gets his oil changes done at the dealership. Hello Crazy expensive!!!
