So I'm away for a few weeks and so many of you have become pregnant, congrats to you all!!!!! I pray you all have a healthy and happy 9 months!
I've had a crazy couple of weeks here. Had my weigh in at the doctors last week and I'm at 208 and I'm still at 208 a week later.
I somehow have managed to do something to my knee while jogging. Last week, I had done my lower body and then Tuesday, I took Ethanael in the jogging stroller with me. I was so happy I completed 2.5 miles with him. But then soon after my knee started killing me. I ended up going to the doctor on Monday and he looked at my knee and said my joint was fine and that I was free to jog with the pain and that I wouldn't do any damage to it. He said it could be my form on pushing Ethanael or my shoes and then of course, my weight. I was told to take some ibuprofen before I go to help with the pain and if it does swell, I have yet to have any swelling. I did try jogging without Ethanael and I still had the pain so it's not that. I will try shoes next.
Thing is, he told me I could switch to a treadmill that will help absorb the impact but I love jogging outdoors, I never thought in a million years I would be out jogging and my hubby goes with me now. So I'm really hoping the shoes do it for me. I'm going to go to a specialist and have a biomechanics screening done.
Sorry for the babble and onto the ttc subject
I have no idea if I ovulated last week or this week. I'm leaning towards this week just becasue of ewcm, think I dried up 2 or 3 days ago. I havent' really been temping. I have had really bad cramping the past 2 days which I usually don't get until the day of my period. My boobs have been tender, but I get that on occasion before my period. So with those 2 symptoms, it makes me think my period is closer than I thought. We only dtd 5 days ago and then yesterday, so I really don't feel hopefull about this month. We're not really all that bothered about it right now. It will always be in my heart that I really want another baby, but I have that extra time to get myself healthy.
My teenager has been off school all this week and with the weather being fabulous, we have planned an outdoor activity everyday. Monday, I think we walked about 8 miles, Tuesday, we biked for about 6 and had a picnic in the park, Wed, we went biking through a small village and then went jogging later and yesterday we did a 5 mile walk to town and had some fun shopping. He goes back to school on Monday so I'll have some quiet back. The 2 of them have such a good time together, but boy do they get loud. I don't really mind and I'm over the moon that they do love to play considering the age difference of 11 years.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

I also wanted to thank you for putting this part in. My son will be 11 years older than his brother/sister (when we get a sticky bean!) and sometimes it worries me that they will be so far apart in age. You gave me hope! Thanks!

MomDC, the 2 of them are a hoot. For the most part they get along and they do have a really strong bond together. There are so many times when Ethanael only wants Alex. They love playing together, they both love trains and cars so Alex will set the scene for him.......and E will destroy it, you gotta laugh it off. They really have their moments as well, such as my teenager thinks my toddler should act like a teenager and doesn't understand why he won't listen. Alex is a sweetheart though and is always buying Ethanael toys. He has a paper route here and doesn't make much either.
It is nice having an older child because when needed, they can help pitch in. My teenager has changed poopy nappies, only a few, but it always made my toddler laugh like crazy. Also, if we just ran out for a jog or to the grocery store, Alex would stay behind and look after him. We don't do this all the time, but once in a blue moon it's nice not to take E to the store. He insists on having his own basket and has to stop and look at everything. Takes me forever to get through the store. And of course when we get to the check out, I have to weed out his take.
Tosha, I've been thinking about you alot today and you are in my heart.
Mom2Haley, thanks, I really hope shoes do the trick. I did manage to get a new treadmill off ebay for £23. It was faulty on delivery and the company never picked it up so the guy just wants it gone now. The fault was a sticky belt and my hubby can fix it. So I'm excited that I can run indoors now as well and see if that helps.

Wow other than your knee it sounds like you have been having a good time. Maybe after a short while your knee will either heal up or get stronger. I totally understand how you feel on TTC, I want to be pg so bad, but I want to lose more weight too. I am going to TTC, but if it doesn't happen I will just take it as another month to get healthier.

Finally found your post!!!
Sure does sound like you've had a crazy few weeks!!! Totally sucks about your knee acting up! I hope the new shoes will help you out. I know doctor's WILL say that it's your body weight, and that's why your knee hurts. Pooh on them!
Ethanael and Alex sound like they have lots of fun together!! I'm glad the age difference hasn't put a damper on anything between the two of them.
Check in more often!!!!
