I went in for my 3rd hcg level test. 1st:38, 2nd:44, today:43

I should be about 5-6 weeks along. I'm still spotting (since Sunday).

I go in on Monday for an ultrasound. My Dr. thinks it may be an ectopic pregnancy, but I've had no pain or cramping so who knows.

If it is ectopic, hopefully I can get a shot and my body will dissolve it. I don't really want to have an invasive procedure done.

This is a heck of a first pregnancy, wow. I would NEVER have guessed this would have happened.

Please send me good thoughts that this turns out to be nothing crazy and we can take care of it easily.

Good thoughts to all of you out there, I know we're all hoping/wishing for something...

I'm so very sorry. I think your doctor might be right though. I never had any cramping until I started bleeding internally. I am however suprised that he is letting you wait to have an ultrasound until monday! You're in my T&Ps!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I really hope and pray its not ectopic. I wish he would have done an u/s earlier, just to rule it out. Anyhow, with my ectopic, I didn't have any pain either until in ruptured, so other than spotting and your numbers not increasing its hard to say whether it is or isn't until they do and u/s. Praying for you!!

I'm so sorry Bobbi. I can relate to the comment about you never expecting your 1st pregnancy to go like that. It is a good sign that you are spotting though, maybe your body will take care of it on its own with no help at all. Good luck sweetie and please let us know how things go on Monday.

Oh also, I wanted to add that my levels never got very high(74, 91), I was 5 weeks +, and that my spotting took over a week to turn into blood. It felt like a bad, heavy period, but my body bounced back quickly.
