Hello all I'm a new member, although I have been browsing for a while.

I had 4 positive pregnancy tests last week (yes 4, I wanted to be sure). My last period was 18th Jan and since coming of the pill last September I've had 25 day cycles, I did my first test on the 25th day (last Tuesday), another on Wed, a different make on Thursday and again on Saturday.......all 4 were quite faint positive lines but positive all the same. I was due to take a sample to the Doctors today to have it officially confirmed. Only this morning I started bleeding, light at first, but it's got heavier throughout day. I rested like the Nurse at our practice advised, however this evening I have passed 2 clot like lumps (sorry tmi) so am assuming that I am right in thinking I'm miscarrying I have terrible lower backache too.

I've 2dd and have never had any experience of miscarriage. I'm very disappointed and sad, but at the same time I'm relieved it's happened now rather than weeks down the line.

I'm desperate for a third child, how long do I have to leave it before ttc again?

I'm sorry you are going through this. You might want to check with your Dr to make sure that you are having a m/c. If you are then most Drs say to wait 1-2 cycles before trying again

I'm so sorry! Be sure to go to your doctor and make sure they check you out! Make sure your numbers are going down!

Sorry that you are going thru this. This same thing happened to me about 3 months ago. I had 3 positive pregnancy tests within a weeks time. I made a doc appointment thinking that I was really pregnant and on the day of the appointment I started bleeding. I cancelled the appointment, however, my doc still requested that I come in and have my blood drawn to confirm if I was or wasn't pregnant. My results came back with no preg hormone. So, I was not pregnant. So, I got 3 false positive tests and they were all different brands. Doc said that goes to show that they are not 100% accurate. Maybe it was a "chemical" pregnancy. I would definitely go and have your blood checked for the hormone. Good Luck.

I agree with Kristie. I would definitely go to the doctor and have those levels checked. I'm sorry you are going through this and hope you have a speedy recovery. I'm glad you found us. These are a wonderful group of ladies.
