This morning I had my glucose tolorance test. That stuff wasn't too bad, but I really don't want to have to do it over. My endocrinologist also ordered a salivary cortisol level. I have to spit my first am saliva into this tube, and then return it to the lab. After that, I went to another location and had my thyroid ultrasound done. Everything looked good for nodules/tumors. I just need to wait to see if its enlarged. Nothing of any interest on the parathyroid either. So, I guess that part is good news. Maybe in my heart I am hoping that I am not insulin resistant and just depressed and lazy. Dan and I bought only healthy stuff today from the grocery store. Fruits, granola, veggies, and chicken. We have decided to become a beef free household especially after seeing the footage of the cows screaming in sickness and pain as they slaughter house abused them. I mean I know it's a slaughter house, but, geez it made me physically sick. Ok, stepping off my soapbox now.

Glad to hear that everything is coming back good. I know what you mean, I was the same way glad everything was ok but at the same time upset that there wasnt something that is causing me not to get pg still. I also saw that video on the news today about the cows. It was very upsetting.

I hope the new tests come back good!!!

I think I saw something about the cows on the news, I'm not too sure. I'm re-thinking my beef choices as well!!!

I didn't see the cows in the news thing, thank goodness. We became a cow-free house quite a while ago. It's not too hard to do it...good luck!!
