It was a very long appointment, or at least it sure seemed like it. Anyway, the dr. is nice enough, did a thorough history and all.

Then she does an u/s to take a look at my uterus and ovaries. You know it's not good when a dr is looking at an u/s and goes "Hmmmm..." and then asks "Did they make sure your HCG went down to zero?" (I said yes) and then she starts snapping pictures from the u/s.

My uterine lining should be thin right now, as AF is just ending. But it's not. So it's one of two things-left over tissue from the last m/c or something else that means I have to go back on bcp for a month or TWO to get my lining to thin normally.... or have a D&C if it doesn't go away .

Genetic bloodwork for both me and dh this week and then I have to wait until my next AF to do the second round of bloodwork and to schedule the HSG.

So there goes a 2008 baby out the door.

I'm sorry your appointment didn't go as "planned".

I hope everything is healthy and normal with everything. I'm not too sure what else to say, I just hope you don't have to have a D&C!!!!

I so don't want a D&C. I don't care if I'm knocked out. The dr. said "That will hurt a lot". Great....

I've been in stirrups 5 times in 5 months and my knees are gonna start locking up-they will need to pry them apart!

The biopsy hurt a whole lot, my pap was really uncomfortable, and the u/s didn't feel good either. My nether regions just can't take it!!

I'm really sorry about the bad news today. I really hope you dont have to have a D&C either. I had to have one done and it didnt hurt so much phyically but more emotionally. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out for you.

Sorry it didn't go as planned. I've never had a d&c, so I'm no help there. Good luck with the genetic bloodwork.
