I had cramping today (well now it's yesterday), kind of a dull cramp on my right side. What could cause this? I am still spotting from AF. I obviously don't think it is ovulation cramps, that shouldn't happen until around CD 15.

Normally my AF cramps are only on CD1 and they are not localized on one side.

The only thing I can think is a cyst? But I have never (to my knowledge) had a cyst.

Also is it bad in any way that my AF lasts so long? Like this month 6 days long plus 2 days of spotting. I've always tended to have longer AFs, but I wonder if maybe it is bad for my uterine lining in some way?

I am not amused by my body right now. It's bugging me that I don't know why I have these cramps.

A close friend of mine has a 7 day period every month, and I had a 12 day period once -- lovely!

I was going to say it could be O cramping, but like you said, it doesn't make sense to you.

I hope it stops soon, so you can get back to normal. I know nothing about cysts, so I can't help you there.

Girl!!!

I had a cyst once. It's like a dull ache where your ovaries are. It sometimes hurt worse when I'd move a certain way. It went away by itself. I hope it's nothing and you feel better soon.

Hmm...should I do anything like go to the doctor to see if I have a cyst? I'm assuming unless it was huge she'd just tell me to wait for it to go away anyway.

I was thinking if I am not pregnant by May, which is when my next pap smear is due, then I will talk to to my doctor about anything that might be wrong. We'd be TTC for 7 months by then. Hopefully it will happen before then though.
