I took an OPK last night and it wasn't positive, but the line was VERY close to being as dark as the test line. Today is CD13. Last time I used OPKs (back in Sep) I ov'd on CD17 of a 29-30 day cycle. DH is leaving tomorrow and will be gone until Sunday afternoon (CD17). So I'm hoping if we DTD tonight it will be enough if I ovulate sometime between now and then.

Of course I told him to plan on DTD Sunday regardless of how tired he is (he is going on a golf trip to San Antonio with a bunch of guys- so he BETTER have enough energy for me when he gets home )... so wish me luck!

UPDATE TONIGHT:

SO I JUST TOOK AN OPK AND .. IT WAS SUPER DARK.. WAY DARKER THAN THE TEST LINE.. SO I'M GUESSING I'M GETTING READY TO OVULATE TONIGHT OR TOMORROW ON CD14 WHICH IS EARLIER THAN I EXPECTED.. BUT A PLEASANT SURPRISE SINCE DH IS LEAVING TOWN TOMORROW! I JUST SHOWED HIM THE TEST AND EXPLAINED IT ALL TO HIM THAT HE BETTER BE READY AND HE WAS LAUGHING AT ME SAYING, "BOY YOU ARE ON CLOUD 9".. I TOLD HIM HE WAS LUCKY B/C THIS KEEPS HIM OUT OF THE DOGHOUSE FOR BEING OUT OF TOWN!

SO WISH ME LUCK TONIGHT GIRLS! I GUESS I HAVE ONE SHOT (OR SHOULD I SAY DH DOES ).. UNLESS SOME OF HIS SUPER SPERMIES FROM MONDAY NIGHT ARE STILL ALIVE!!!

WOOHOO- I AM SO EXCITED!!

Thanks ladies.. we did the deed and I feel good about things. We did what we could. DH leaves today but I definitely feel like I am ov'ing now b/c I'm having lower back pains.

So now to the 2ww!!! Here's to a November baby!
