Sorry I have been MIA. I've gotten really busy with my work and businesses that I haven't had much spare time. Plus my friend is getting married and I am helping her design save the date and wedding invites. I am going to try to catch up on posts this week . If I missed any BFP's, CONGRATS!
So I have a question. No real reason to ask, mainly curiosity. I hear many women complain about evaps with +/- blue dye tests and $ store tests. Has anyone had a evap appear on a FRER after the time limit? Did the evap look darker pink at the top and bottom of the strip and lighter in the middle part of the line but still easily noticable? Thanks for your input.

Hey Danica. I was beginning to worry about you. I was wondering where you were. I'm glad all is well.
As for the evaps, I have no idea. I've never had one. Sorry!

My positive on a FRER looked darker on the top and bottom of the strip and lighter in the middle. And thicker at the top and bottom and skinnier in the middle. But it was indeed a faint positive and not an evap, but if it can do that on a positive, I'd imagine it might could on an evap too? *shrugs* Just my 2cents.

This was an evap I got last July, after the 2 tube removals and before we did IVF. AF was a little late, and then hit really hard with cramps & heavier than normal flow. So that made me think i might have had a chemical??? But how you get pg with no tubes . . .
This was a FRER, and the line was there after the limit, but I didn't wait the full 10 min to see if anything showed up, just did the test, waited a few min, and went back to bed.
anyway here's what my evap looked like:

Before I got my BFP this time I got an Evap with FRER. It showed up overnight and looked pretty much like Anne's.

Thanks ladies. I don't think I'm pregnant. I just haven't started my period yet and so I decided to test with a $1 store test. I thought I saw a faint shadow or somthing so since I had a cup of pee and a 3 pack of FRER's I couldn't resist... just to see. So I got an evap like Anne's. Here are the pics. I still dont' know where my camera is so the shots are not good quality because I took them with my video camera.
This is what it looked like 30 minutes after the test timeframe but I just took the picture like 20 minutes ago...
And here is the $1 test. You can't really see anything in the pic but there is a very faint shadow
So I took an EPT tonight after holding my pee for 2 hours. Very faint evap on this one too after the time limit but nothing as dark as the FRER.
I don't think much of them and don't feel pregnant but I'll of course be testing again in the morning. I just don't want to become the crazy lady that thinks she's pregnant every week. LOL

That's interesting. But what are the odds of getting an evap that many times in a row? I know nothing of them so I'm just asking

With my luck lately... the odds are high
The thing to keep in mind is that all of these showed up after the time limit so don't put value to them. Just pretty to look at and nothing more

I am not sure about this one
My evaps (and I have had LOTS on FRER) have never had that thick of a line.
I will be VERY curious to see what tomorrows look like.
I do have some evap pics in the picture gallery.... I think.
Okay that said............. Don't ever leave us again! Man I missed ya!!!!! glad you are back. We were going to send a search party

hmmmm.... i laughed at your comment about not wanting to be the lady who thinks shes pregnant every week! hahah... but i too think.. what are the odds of getting an evap with all of those tests!... But... you might have enough HCG left over to creat evaps..i dunno

Fortunately my hcg is below 5 so that shouldn't show anymore, thank GOD! I don't want to relive that again.
I am on 32 days post start of bleeding for my m/c but only 29 days from when I actually passed all the tissue so it's still early for me. I know some women have to wait much longer before they get their first period so I'll try not to complain too much. With my first m/c it too 32 days though

I only get evaps when I look at the test after the time limit. And that is only on the cheap tests, however I never use FRERs...I only used one once I got my BFP on a cheapie.
