Well, I decided if I'm not pg this month ( I test next Thursday ) then I will do temps and opks. This will be my first time to do those. Which opks do you use? Are ones better than others? Also, on the temps, you take before you get out of bed each morning, right? Do you do this after af leaves, during, what? Thanks for any help!

On the OPKs, I think different people like different brands. Some people like Answer brand that you can buy at most stores, but I just never had great luck with them. For a cheapie online brand I like these: http://www.babywishes.org/OvulationTests.html They are a little wider than some of the other cheapies and it really does make them easier to read.

For temping, yes, you temp before you get out of bed in the morning. And you should try to temp around the same time every day. You will need a basal body thermometer, which reads out to two decimal places, so it would read 98.43 instead of just 98.4. You can get one in drugstores like Walgreens, CVS.

Some people temp the whole cycle and some don't temp until after AF leaves. I just temp right around the time I think I am ovulating but I used to temp the whole cycle. I would recommend since you are just starting out I would temp the whole cycle at first just to get the hang of it.

And of course good luck this month! I hope you get your BFP this month and don't need any of this info!
