Ok I think all of you are ready for me to get pregnant so I will just shup up about the CM already...

But really. I am pretty sure I will ovulate on Monday because I'm using my OvWatch and that's when it said I will. It was correct last month.

I got big gobs of ewcm two days ago. Then yesterday just a little ewcm. Then today, nothing. What gives? This has seemed to be a recurring theme over the past couple of months, I get some ewcm and then all of a sudden I get LESS and LESS leading up to ovulation.

I am not doing anything differently. The only things I can think are: either my body is wacko and doesn't keep producing it, it is very thin and I'm just not noticing it, or it is staying up in my cervix and not coming down. I have checked for it when checking my cervix and there is just a little moisture on my finger after I check and that's it.

What do you think? Feel free to tell me just to shut up about it already and to stop worrying. Or tell me about how you got pregnant with very little CM. That would help.

I'd love to use PreSeed but I can't get Dh on board with it.

Hey Shannon

EWCM can occur right before ovulation usually like the day before and you are considered very fertile during the time you have it so I say take advantage of all of it that you have regardless of what ovwatch says. I don't think your body is wacko at all. If you are having gobs of ewcm than I wouldn't consider that "little cm". I think all the stuff you have been doing is working and that you are ovulating right on time and producing good quality cm! I checked your chart and good thing you bd on Thurs when you had ewcm. I have always had EWCM (for as long as I can remember) usually coinciding with O pain but usually only 2 days of it. But then sometimes a couple days later some more will appear just like in your case. You will have EWCM before ovulation. The creamy type of cervical fluid comes with the surge of Estrogen that occurs right before o and then the eggy type occurs with the peak of Estrogen that usually comes the day before O.

So I'd say take advantage of all the ewcm you have because you know you'll o sometime around when you have it. But hopefully you won't have to worry about that for a while and you guys hit the mark this time.
I think you should feel happy about this and not worried.

well i just wanted to offer my story....

If you remember... AFTER i had Oed i posted about what to do to help fix your EWCM because i didnt think that i was producing any... all i got was creamy CM all the time and MAYBE a little watery around O time but not really on O day... So i was planning on eating lots of baby carrots and doing the robitussin thing the next month we were trying ..but then i was pregnant! So i got pregnant on NO EWCM..

The thing is my temps and the Ovwatch, both show that I haven't Oed yet. My coverline is always around 97.7 and I am nowhere near that. So the ewcm came way too EARLY (like 5 days before O) and then it's not happening right around when I ovulate (the last few cycles).

I think I had a little bit right before bed last night. So maybe it will pick up again.

You and I seem to be having a similar cycle. I am on cd 13 today.

I had lots of Ewcm 2 days ago then none yesterday and today I have alot and o pain. So maybe it does tend to come and go. I've never noticed til I thought about your post.

So I did some more looking into this in my midwifery books. So on average women can have ewcm 3-5 days before o and the presence of ewcm does not necessarily indicate ovulation. So unless your cm has totally dried up you haven't o'ed yet. The ewcm is just there to provide a medium for the little guys to swim up in and then they are there and ready for when you do o later.

I still think you are ok and having an excellent cycle

I would say that it'll probably show tomorrow or the day after. Just drink plenty of fluid and don't get discouraged by it cause like Em said, she got pregnant with no CM!

Well I posted another thread about it today. It's possible I may have already Oed, but I am not sure at this point.

Hopefully I will have a better idea tomorrow.
