so around 11 pm or so last night I decided the bleeding/cramping was too heavy/bad so off to the ER we went. I'll try to not go into too much really gross detail but when I was standing at the administration desk I had a HUGE gush and soaked everything. eeewwww. Then once was in my room I was getting up off the wheelchair they had me in, I was going to clean myself up before getting into the hospital bed and I felt something come down, and to my suprise it was the sac and literally 1/2 of my endometrium in one clot. I looked down and saw that and I think the expression on my face was something like Poor DH he was an unfortunate witness to that!!! That part didn't hurt at all so it was kind of funny at the time. I know, we have a weird sense of humor. DH saw that and said, you're never getting sex again!
After that the cramping pretty much stopped and the bleeding slowed. They kept me there for several more hours and did lots of blood tests & ultrasounds and we finally got home around 6am.

So, I feel really good now and I'll probably be lazing/napping on the couch most of the day, sucking down pints of ice cream!

Brittanie, can you please update the loss list with today's date for me? Thanks hun!!!

I'm still sorry you had to go through this, but at least it's over with.

As for a crazy sense of humor, we have that in common. Most people would think we are nuts.

Anne....

I am sooo glad it's over for you too.

I TOTALLY understand the LMAO feeling at what came out. When I was m/c right after my water broke... with the next contraction out came this HUGE as big as a football.... size clot. You should have seen Dave and I trying to take it apart to make sure the baby wasn't somewhere in there. All I could do is laugh at this thing. Maybe some of us just deal with stress and heartache by laughing? I to this day wish I took a picture of that. Oh well.... <sigh>

I hope you heal fast and are feeling more yourself soon. Be sure to eat lots of protein and drink lots of fluid to get your energy back. It took me about two weeks to feel myself again from the blood loss. i hope you recover a lot quicker

LOTS of

OMG, I didn't put that in my post bc I thought everyone would think I was really crazy , but I DID consider taking a picture of it! I had my camera phone on me . . . but I didn't do it. but I was like a little kid with a stick (poke, poke) bc I saw the sac was inside of it so I separated it out, i wanted to see what it looked like. (eeewww, I know). no I didn't use my fingers!
I can't believe how exhausted I feel right now! I just got out of bed and I feel like I could crawl right back in!

I am just SO glad this is (mostly) over. My body got right back on track right away after the other 2 pg's so I'm really hoping this will be the same way.
