Hi. I'm visiting from the TTC board. I'm pretty sure I just had a chemical pregnancy. Today is the first full day of no bleeding (bled for 4 days starting with the day af was due). Now I am having ewcm and my cervix feels soft and high again (it was firm and low early yesterday). I tested with an OPK and it was very negative. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Could my body be trying to O again so soon?

My cycles have been regular 28 days/Oing around day 14 so having ewcm right now is definately not normal for me. I don't know what to think except my cycle is probably going to be messed up this month. I was really hoping that wouldn't happen.

Any thoughts?

Update:

I had a positive opk about 15 minutes ago and am having more ewcm. I think my body is trying ovulate right now for some reason. Well, we DTD just in case I guess I'll keep testing w/OPK's and see what happens. It would be so nice if I actually ovulate so soon, but I won't get my hopes up on that.

It is really hard to say for sure. It could be O coming earlier. I also have had ewcm during af, so its really hard to say. If you are ttc I would take advantage of the ewcm. It could also just be from the pregnancy hormones getting out of your system.

Why do you think you had a chemical? Did you have a + hpt? Did you have a heavy AF? There could be a chance that you are still pregnant and that is the reason for the cm. Sorry wish I could help.

We are ttc and this last cycle I really thought I was pg. Everything that always happens pre-af for me was different. Usually I get a bad backache before af and nothing this time, my bb's are always sore right after I ovulate and not until 6 dpo this time, and I alwasy get a hormonal migraine halfway through af, but this time it came a few days before af was due and went away before af was due. I decided to not test early b/c it drove me crazy doing that in January. So, I waited for AF and she showed the day after she was due. When AF showed it was heavy pretty much right away (I usually spot for about half a day first) and it was very clotty - not like any period I've ever had. I was bleeding through tampons (which has happened before but never with clots like this). I didn't feel like my normal period. No backache, no headache. Also, when I get af my bb's stop being sore right away. Well, they are still al ittle sore now. I don't have the positive bfp to back it, but I am pretty sure that is what happened. Sorry for the long explanation. I'm sure I'm not still pg b/c I did test once AF showed just to see and it was neg.

Thank-your for you response. I appreciate it. I think I have to just wait and see what happens this cycle.

I had a chemical a couple months back. The m/c bleeding was REALLY light for me. The next cycle wasn't too bad either but the one after that was so bad I almost went to the ER. I was even passing tissue. I Oed on time. The m/c didn't seem to mess up too much.

Good luck on the next cycle

Oh and stick around.... I think you will like it here! We are a silly bunch!

Thank-you for your input

I don't know what my body is doing. I have more ewcm this morning and my cervix is high and soft just like before I ovulate. If I have another negative opk I'll be so confused. I'm going to pee on one in a little while. My problem is I am so impatient! I don't want to have to wait too long to have a productive cycle but obviously I have no choice.

Thanks again!
