Should I start Vitex again?

Hi everyone,
I am doing ok. Went to see the dr. who did the surgery for my ectopic today and it was difficult emotionally.
I am struggling with the fact that it is all over, medically anyway...and now I just wait and wait.
I actually have two questions, one- should I start taking my vitex again right now in hopes of regulating my cycle, or should i wait til I have af for the first time (she said between 2-4 weeks) and just let my body do its own thing.
Also, I feel obsessed with wanting to try again. I don't really understand why I have to wait so long to TTC again...I can see waiting one complete cycle, but two really? For any ladies who have had to wait out cycles before TTC again, how did you do it? Any advice? All I can think of is getting pregnant again..it is like I had a taste of it and now I want it even more. (LOL I sound like a drug addict!)

I'm sorry you are going through this. I have no idea what Vitex is so I can't offer anything there. I was told to wait 2 cycles, but they went by pretty quick really.

i was told to wait 1 cycle by one doctor and 3 cycles by another one... I started TTC after 1 cycle.. but didnt actually get pregnant until after 3 cycles..

so i think my body knew when the time was right for it.

as for vitex, i really dont know anything about it at all... id call your Dr about that.
